Pectineus muscle. It's close to the hamstring. Basically it's close to the balls.

Seeing Pogba/Miki/Zlatan shows just how far he has fallen as he isn't within a country mile of those 3 in quality/influence or end result.

He's a Stoke type player now, at best.

I didn't know he got injured again.

I am still waiting for him to break the goal record. He needs 1 goal to equal it, and 1 more to break it. It has been a long time coming. Hopefully, he gets to play in the FA Cup and he can score against those lower league sides. He is so close, yet so far.

His performances seem to have improved a bit. I saw him outrun the WBA defense. Then again, you can argue those WBA defenders are even older than Zlatan. But hopefully, he can score soon.

Something seems a bit strange about this injury to me. No reason why just a feeling I have.

What's wrong with him? There haven't been any details about the kind of injury he has and no return date has been set.

Don't mean to have a dig at him while he's injured but I hope Mata's impact from the bench in the past two games gives Jose something to think about when Wayne is back instead of it always being Rooney that's the first sub (when he doesnt start) to change things.

It's quite sad that we aren't chomping at the bit to see Wayne Rooney return, along with our revamped form, for a second half season push. Instead I'm worrying about him messing this up.

We aren't missing him in the slightest. It's a shame he'll eventually return to the team.

Honestly forgotten about him. Not being missed at the moment & the way he has played this season, he arguably shouldn't even be named as a substitute.

I hope Jose's got the balls to leave him. No need to mess with a winning team.

Duncan castles has been hinting in his recent articles that, the club is looking for a way to politely tell him to leave.

I've found this really weird too. I'm guessing Jose has him on a special training programme to get him back on track

I think Jose has already shown his balls with this for the past 3 months.

Rooney is nowhere near the first team

He's been decent in the LF spot. Not brilliant but decent. I'd still play Martial/Rashford over him there but he is a good option to come off the bench and who knows, he might get back into good form.

I'd still sell in the summer but it would be a shame to see us not allow him to break the record when he's so close to it. He's come this far, it's only fair we give him a bit of respect and we don't sell him until he breaks it.

I really don't think he'll return. He will be a squad player under Jose.
With Mata and Rashford being better than him, and consider that usually the manager doesn't make more than 2 attacking substitution, at this stage he probably isn't good enough even as a squad player. Heck, it could be argued that even Lingard offers more than him.

Was reading the latest posts here from bottom to top when I saw the profile picture. That's some funny shit.

Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Rooney has more output than Lingard does this season.

If given the choice between the two, I would start Rooney over Lingard every single time.

He has more output, but at the same time I think that he has played more, and destroys far more actions than Lingard with his bad first touch.

He has definitely improved after he got benched though. Now he looks like an average player instead of a terrible one that he did for quite some time.

Very true.

Just wheel him on for the Hull games and let him get the record thing over and done with, then start finding a way of organising a dignified exit, Jose has dealt with him very well so far imo.

May I suggest starting to post Chinese takeaway menus through his letterbox?

I'd completely forgotten about him tbh. He's totally surplus to requirements now, and everyone that was saying for the past 18 months that we'd be a better side without him - we were right.

To be fair, we'll never know that. We didn't have Pogba and Zlatan last season.

The one biggest difference we've made has been to change our manager. That's brought about all the other changes that has contributed to our better form.

We play better football without him. He does a good job on the left (and might have been more useful than Lingard today on the left to start with). But overall, if were going towards 433 (which it seems we are and its the right move) going forward theres no place for him. Hes a backup and id rather see others come in instead of him when needed a sub for a goal.

No need to disrespect him. He's a club legend. The least we can do is give him a choice. He can have Big Macs or Sweet and Sour Chicken.

Not convincingly

He is still one of our top contributors in terms of goals and assists this season, I think second to Ibra, despite missing a lot of action. Lingard, No.

We dont really need him anymore, he is already redundant as a starter. His wages are too high to sit on the bench
