Which United will turn up today? I have no idea. Big Fellaini in the team is actually a positive for me: at least we'll have some dig in midfield.

In terms of physicality, we are a fairly good match for Watford and Fellaini is a huge factor in that.

Fred works his arse off. It's purely a tactical decision. Fellaini will be able to compete with Deeney in the air, and can go a long way to nullify Watfords attack. Fred has also travelled a helluva lot for internationals, while Fellaini missed Belgium's game.

But I wouldn't expect a logical, common sense thought process when blind hatred of Jose gets in the way.

Pereira put in one of the worst performances I have ever seen from a United player in the first half against Brighton - he has not been seen since for good reason. Mctominay has barely put a foot wrong in any game I have seen him play. You might have your facts slightly twisted.

Plus Mctominay is more physically able than Pereira, thus more suited to play against an extremely physical outfit in Watford. Common sense.

I am glad Shaw is being rested though. I hate players rushing back from concussion too fast. May not matter too much in the short term, but it can catch up to them 20-30 years down the road and cause them serious issues.

He didn't have a clue what he was doing positionally, just loitering around a few yards in front of our centerbacks. His individual performance contributed massively to the way we fell apart in that first half.

Look, the lad is talented for sure but he needs to learn some basic positional sense before he pulls on a United shirt again. Wonder if Jose feels the same way considering he hasn't given him a sniff since that debacle of a performance.
