Also the way Bauer killed Quinn was awesome.

Thought he threw a knife, but it was a screwdriver! Then he used the screwdriver to start the truck.

I like how alone Jack was in this episode. Bill's dead, Chloe and Renee are in custody, and Tony's chilling in a cafe somewhere. It's him against the entire world, and of course you know Jack will win.

These episodes are going so quickly....I love this season. Great TV.

Does anyone else find themselves shouting at the screen watching this season? It's become a bit like watching United with me.

no, because I know it's a show and my shouting won't affect a single thing

hehe - yeah I know what you mean, I just sink deeper into the couch though....what a showww

Should be another great episode this week.

Anyone want to make any predictions as to what will happen? Will we start to see more of Tony now?

Hm so-so episode. First half was a bit boring, Olivia is an annoying character.

Loved the way Jack managed to drive off with the truck and I"m glad he saved the security guard. He'd have been a villain otherwise.

Decent ep. Jack and Tony back in action were predictably the best bits. The whole Lary Rene thing is starting to annoy me.

I think they've completely tired out the "Jack is a fugitive who no one believes angle."

There's a point where it just gets ridiculous that after all he's done everyone is willing to believe he's commited 2 cold blooded murders, all while refusing to hear his side of the story.

I reckon she might die or summat big like that...:nervous:
Yeah, I can see that happening. I don't see Elisha coming back for more seasons. So they might kill her off or some other kind of farewell. Jack having to kill his own daughter would make for great TV.

In what situation would Jack ever be forced to kill Kim? While I'd agree it'd make for great TV viewing, he never would.
Yes, that is why it would make great TV. Jack would just about kill or let anyone die to save his country or avert some disaster. His daughter would be the last one of that list though. You can could have an arc where Kim turns out to be one of the villains and the last play is stopping her from denoting some bomb.

They won't do it though. I think this season will have a positive climax for Jack, a reconciliation or some sort of closure with his daughter and a hook up with Renee. The Redemption title of the TV movie was a hint.

Although you could say he's already shown weakness in saving that security guard and fecking up the weapon thing. Renee's happy slapping and the President's orders about her daughter must have got to him.

Not the same. Here he still had a plan b after saying him. I am talking about a situation where he either has to kill someone or some bomb explodes. Kim is the probably the only one he won't be able to kill in that situation.

well Kiefer has given an interview a few days ago, here is one question:

Interviewer: Give us a hint about the much anticipated last episode of this season's 24.

Kiefer: The most I can tell you about it is that it's not going to end because someone cuts two wires and the clock on the bomb stops. It is going to end with some of the characters going through a very difficult emotional dilemma which will be much more dramatic than a big action sequence. I believe that it's the most powerful important ending that we've ever had to a season.

Ah right, well I still think he wouldn't have saved that guy in series gone past, he compromised the mission and as a result lost the weapon, lost Tony and became exposed! But yeah he won't kill Kim, he's killed Curtis and Chappelle before when it was needed though.

And gone to sacrifice himself multiple times.

great episode. I couldn't believe that it was over. Seemed like only 10 minutes had elapsed. I love this show.

Well I'm finally caught up.

After starting early Feb from Season 1 I am finally up to speed with everyone else

Don't forget the first episode of season 2. "I'm gonna need a hacksaw."

Did you at any point watch an entire season on DVD in 18 hours? That kind of marathon is the stuff of legends.

Edit: Fantastic episode today. I love the cliffhanger at the end. Can't wait until next week. Somehow I feel like I've said that before about this show...

Good episode. Are we allowed to talk about it? Not sure on the spoiler rule in this thread.

Episode 16 was feckin quality, great little twist at the end aswell.

Can't wait for next week.

Season 7 is turning out to be the best season yet for me.

(Also, the way the the Starkwood guy at the end looked at Tony was a wee bit suspicious for me - they seemed to recognize each other)
