We haven’t been linked to Osimhen in this window because even journos know he would cost too much. It’s only our fans who can’t get it into their heads that we have no money to complete deals like that, that keep mentioning them.
felix has been mentioned, and he would be an option IF the loan fee wasn’t ridiculously high

Ahh fair enough to be honest I haven't been keeping up with a lot of the speculation but since I see his name mentioned a lot I assumed we were getting linked with him. Either way I'd expect that if we sign Aboubakar he would very much be a bench player and help us out should we suffer a lot of injuries
 
He scored a good goal in the WC. That's all I know of him.

But we've just saved 25m on Ronaldo's wages alone. Surely there's more than enough for a Thuram or a Felix loan, even both really. Why is no one talking about this, what happened to those money?

I heard about him a few years ago when I got one of his informs on fifa. Was a good card :lol: Not an inspiring signing though. He’s played for the likes of Porto though hasn’t he.

Last season we made a 149.6m loss, when playing in the CL. After the books for last season was closed, we went and spent 240m on the transfer market. By 30 Sep, we only had app. 25m on the bank account. We lost a ton of income from home games due to cancelled games during Oct-Dec.

It is safe to say that we are pretty darn broke. ;)

(Not saying this is not a reason for the Glazer to not support the club. But they bought us 17 years ago and have never given us a cent, and when the Gakpo deal broker down it’s hard to come to any other conclusion that they won’t support us this time either.)

No. He would be Martial's deputy. Although if he were to perform better than Martial and take his place, then win win.
 
I just hope he proves us all wrong but I was hoping it would be Felix or even Thuram. If we are getting him as well as one of those two this window then fine but if this is the quality we can only afford to sign in an area we are very short of options for, then we’ve just got to hope Martial finds some sort of form and stays injury free.

The really annoying thing is that we need martial to be the deputy to whoever we’re bringing in, we just don’t have the means.
 
He’s the same age as Casemiro. What the feck? I thought he was like 35 playing in Saudi for his last year or so
