The amount of baseless speculation without knowing anything about his situation I guess is par for course. Particularly worse cuz most of you are not healthcare professionals.
With 71% of the British population vaccinated with at least one dose, around 51 million we can safely assume that’s more than would have got covid in the past year. The fact that the vaccine might cause heart issues even if it’s at a lower rate than the disease will start to become noticeable throughout all areas of life.As a person who works in this field and specifically in heart diseases diagnosis, I can tell you that I have seen many young adults than normal getting myocarditis (heart muscle inflammation) recently. Not a small number of them was after receiving the covid vaccine (within 2-7 days). Covid itself has a higher risk of causing myocarditis, but it is well documented now that the vaccine can cause it too but at lower rate compared to the disease itself (although the studies are small and for short term, more studies needed).
No. There are many other explanation that are more probable.I have a heart condition and you don't just get palpitations. There is an underlying cause.
Unfortunately, the most likely explanation is either Covid or the MRNA vaccines. As mentioned already, there is a high enough rate of myocarditis that we are seeing well known athletes having heart problems. Myocarditis is quite serious, if he has it, he could be out for a few weeks at least, and hopefully he will make a full recovery. There is news that some Utd players tested positive for Covid. Maybe he was one?
I guess so, but that is sad. With today's technology, the ECG machines is connected to the database they can let any specialist anywhere check it directly (if the medical team on the ground do not have the competence to do it).The problem is that the dressing room probably doesn’t have the needed devices to perform more detailed tests. I guess something as simple as ECG is not available. Medical Imaging might be taken the next day in hospital but I doubt it’s usefulness in this case, because the damage if there is any would be too small to detect.
Hope someone can lead the research looking into these cases. UEFA needs to set up a task force for this.
It was a shit point.

Piotr Zielinski came off last night during the match. Pretty much identical to Lindelof. I don’t know what to make of that since they’re 24 hours apart from each other.

Hope thats the case. ECG is simple and cheap. But it’s only the recent few years, football authorities have started to require the league games equipped with AED.Working in a cardiology specialty practice, I’m almost 100% certain they have the basic equipment to perform ECG’s and such.
hope he is well!

Japan is adding myocarditis warning to covid vaccines and stepping away from mandatory vaccination, required informed consent.
Let's keep on-topic please. Thanks.
What did you want from me? Happy to oblige.
Been to Stockholm lately?I hope he is back soon, he has been our most consistent and best CB this season, I've grown to like him very much, which is fecking strange just saying it.
Im not sure what you’re getting at here either? Not his biggest fan, far from it, but wish him a speedy recovery.
Someone said that when Pogba had covid last season and now it's a Caf meme.
I've never been to Stockholm actually, why?Been to Stockholm lately?

And? I don't get it my friend.

he’s states he wishes him a speedy recovery
So still gathering the info before making a diagnosisHe got a holter to monitor for 48hrs.
You've been going against Lindelof so long you're now in favour of him. A bit like Stockhold Syndrome. And? I don't get it my friend.
Right. I know it’s following the protocol, but it probably won’t unveil anything abnormal because he won’t engage anything actively these two days and he recovered quite shortly after being substituted. So still gathering the info before making a diagnosis
I think it better for him staying sidelined for at least a month or longer, and gradually going back to full training. One of the few who can really gain something from that postponed game, get his health properly checked, rest a bit and ease back to full time training.
Right. I know it’s following the protocol, but it probably won’t unveil anything abnormal because he won’t engage anything actively these two days and he recovered quite shortly after being substituted.
I’ve worn enough of these monitors capturing nothing and still ended up with a replacement aortic valve and a quadruple bypass.Right. I know it’s following the protocol, but it probably won’t unveil anything abnormal because he won’t engage anything actively these two days and he recovered quite shortly after being substituted.
The vaccination rate for over 65s in the U.K. is also over 90%.This "stepping away" from mandatory vaccination, is bullshit. Japan leads G7 in vaccinations, higher than Canada (formerly top). They don't need anything "mandatory" since they already have very high rates of vaccinations, including more than 90% of Japanese 65 and older. Mandatory measures are needed only in nations with a lot of antivaxxers.

Nothing to do with Lindelof. Take it to the many other covid threadsThe vaccination rate for over 65s in the U.K. is also over 90%.
We live in an ever changing world, I know some medicines are banned in one country and legally prescribed in another. However, I do think the fact that Japan has added this warning shouldn’t be ignored and ignoring things only gives conspiracy theorists more fuel.
I’ve been harsh at him in the past I admit, I hope he is fine and back in the lineup soon. You've been going against Lindelof so long you're now in favour of him. A bit like Stockhold Syndrome.
Dont worry it was just a joke.
