Of course Brighton are getting one of the most promising LBs in the world.
Looks set to sign for Brighton for £10M, such an obvious signing we're missing out on.

I think it's weird that they have offered his release clause supposedly but then 10% future fee add-on. Why would they do that if he has a release clause which they have met?
That's potentially just giving away like 5-10 million in the future.
Regullon on a more United kind of signing.Of course Brighton are getting one of the most promising LBs in the world.
Estupinan's already one of the best left-backs in the league.
Already have their succession plan in place for when they sell him for £60m+ this summer.
He's already worth 50M+ the moment he touches the ground at Brighton. When we're looking for a Shaw replacement in 2 years time this guy will be worth £50m+.
Big Irish head on him. Surely he’s eligible, hope Ferguson gets in his ear
Are Brighton planning on cashing in on either Mitoma or Estupinan in the summer? Otherwise it could be difficult for Barco to compete with two players who are entering the prime of their careers, especially if they miss out on European competition. Could see Liverpool going for Estupinan as it feels like Robertson is getting injured at an increased rate and I don't really see Tsimikas as a long term replacement. Mitoma is a bit trickier as the left wing position is well populated at the other teams, but maybe they plan on keeping him instead.
Best run country in world football. Welcome Colo!
I very much doubt we are planning on selling either Pervis or Mitoma. We currently have one left back in the entire squad (Estupinan) and I am certain Barco has been brought in to rotate with him. They are both very attacking and dynamic players and it stops us having to play Igor, a sturdy centre-back, Groß(!) or Milner(!!!) there. None of which are left footed, or have pace.
Mitoma’s form dried up when Pervis was injured, because of how much space he creates storming forward and naturally the likes of Igor or Milner simply can’t offer that. Barco is the perfect fit for our style.
That said, everyone is available for the right price. Mitoma and Estupinan are both protected by good contracts and we have no need to sell. The fee for each would be enormous, there’s a good £150m+ between the two players combined.
Will it be Ferguson that goes in the summer then do you feel?
The model seems to be very much move on a player each summer for top money so just wondered who would be next to go?
I think the buying market will dictate that rather than Brighton. If there isn’t sufficient and appropriate interest in any one player (and an offer the club find acceptable) then it’s possible there will be no big sales. The club don’t have a “need” to sell as such, but rather sustainability is based around one or two of these ten or so young investments coming good financially. Anyone would go if the fee was right, but I can’t see any one outstanding player for us presently that the club would deem saleable. Possibly Enciso or Van Hecke - but I suspect few if any clubs would be willing to pay what we ask.
Our best players this season have been Groß, Dunk and Gilmour - not exactly glamorous names to be honest.
Ferguson needs a lot more time to develop - I think a move to yourselves or a Chelsea, Spurs etc would be a disaster for his development at this point in time. He’ll go eventually when he’s ready for that kind of step, but I shouldn’t have thought it would even be on the radar until Summer 2025.
His form has shown he can be inconsistent, his hold-up play needs work and his all-round game, really. It’s a natural finisher, but he’s not a top level striker yet. Long way to go for Evan without constant pressure at the top.
Good post. You have got plenty banked with the double sale last time around (Caceido and Mac Allister) so that should be more than adequate given the numbers.
Have you got any kind of option on Fati?
Smoothen relations so they can come back and get another talent in the future without getting fleeced.I think it's weird that they have offered his release clause supposedly but then 10% future fee add-on. Why would they do that if he has a release clause which they have met?

Always looks promising, some really nice touches and flicks - doesn’t look like a “superstar” yet but was coming into form and adjusting to our style really well shortly before he was injured. Couple of nice finishes. Enjoying him while it lasts, but I’m not convinced based solely on his current performances how far ahead of March and Mitoma he actually is. His reputation is so huge, expectations are through the roof and he has been good, occasionally very good, without being outstanding. Going to be important for us in Europe and the run-in!
I think the poster meant an option to buy, rather than an opinion. But I'm glad you posted this as I was wondering how he'd got on since the move, given I haven't really watched you play all that much this season.

Signed for Brighton
I could be wrong but Brighton have played some systems with Estu as LCB too? Remember hearing that in an FPL videoCan’t lie and say I’ve watched him or even heard of him outside of seeing him mentioned on the Caf but if he’s as talented as the hype suggests, seems another great signing for Brighton who they’ll shift for a mammoth gain in a few years as per seemingly their business model. Possibly means Estupinan will be looked at, at a couple of bigger clubs next summer or the summer thereafter?
Just seems like anything they seemingly, comes off anyway so it wouldn’t surprise me. But based on the boys (Brighton fan iirc) posts on here, they missed Estupi on the left as Mitoma has really struggled.I could be wrong but Brighton have played some systems with Estu as LCB too? In any case I'm sure there's enough gametime for both. Brighton are a side that want to push for European places consistently under De Zerbi.

Yeah I’d say if a good offer comes in, Brighton will sell this summer but in all likelihood there’s no need to sell.I'd imagine it would be next summer. Usually sell 1 big star each summer for a mammoth fee, last summer they sold 2 in Macallister and Caicedo so they won't need to this summer.
Suppose Ferguson is the other possibility for next summer as he's been quiet this year, as expected with his age.
