In a well-ordered universe...
Patraeus is resiging.
Extramarital affair is the apparent reason.
Extramarital affair is the apparent reason.
He can afford to. He has a 100% salary match on his military pension.
Not good when someone in his position can't keep his cock in his pants.
Not in America anyway.
I really couldn't care less.
He is the Director of the CIA. Affairs are not acceptable in ANY country.
Unless someone is breaking the law (like fecking a minor or a prostitute), we really couldn't care less here in Norway. It's none of our business, and it doesn't have anything to do with the someone's qualifications for governing.
What? Why is it relevant?
What? Why is it relevant? Why is it anyone else's business?
He is the Director of the CIA. Affairs are not acceptable in ANY country.
He is a feckING SPY MASTER. It kind of compromises him if his cock keeps falling out of his pants.
What a dick. Fox saying it's all to do with Benghazi.
How convenient for FOX. There's the new story to run with in their relentless assault on President Obama. They'll tie it all in saying he's being scapegoated and obviously has info that would cause Obama to be impeached, yadda yadda.
Stop pretending that you know how people think in countries where you've never lived or paid tax.
He is a feckING SPY MASTER. It kind of compromises him if his cock keeps falling out of his pants.
Possibly opening himself up to extortion/blackmail.
Possibly opening himself up to extortion/blackmail.
Everywhere?
That's impressive.
But there's no evidence of that, and there are no reports of him having revealed classified information because he was being blackmailed over this. What I'm saying is that it's ridiculous for someone to have to resign from his job simply because he or she cheated on their spouse.
What I'm saying is that it's ridiculous for someone to have to resign from his job simply because he or she cheated on their spouse.
Its pretty common for people to resign for extra marital affairs, especially with a subordinate. Most the time you don't hear about it. My old man used to talk to both of them and tell them they both get fired or the senior employee left voluntary. That would have included his employees in Norway BTW.
Maybe it was solely his decision...we don't know if he was told to resign.
Perhaps, but I was responding to mjs saying that it's "not good" when someone in his position can't keep his cock in his pants. I'm saying that it's irrelevant for whether he's good at his job or not.
Really great bullshitting from FOX at the moment. Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi....Apparently is as serious as fabricating WMDs according to...erm....well, no one really, but listen, BENGHAZI!!!
I have met Patraeus BTW, just saying.
Right, because that strengthens your argument.
Right, because that strengthens your argument.
I don't have an argument. Some jobs require a high level of discretion, Directory of CIA is one such job. I am also against married people in the work place having affairs. Integrity and honesty are two basic qualities that many companies look for.
Shitting on your own door step is not wise. feck a married woman from another company, simplest.
You didn't specify that that was part of your argument. I am only responding to your claim that it's bad for someone in high positions to have an extramarital affair (which I think is irrelevant.)
Your position is more understandable if it entails that he's taken advantage of one of his subordinates.
Just thought of a good one...General Petraus? More like General Betray-Us, am I right?
been done.
He will run for President..
serious.
