Fox big hitters - O'reilly and hannity nowhere to be seen. Fox thinks the Republicans were not right wing enough.

You just know the real reason Romney hasn't conceded is because he's embarrassed to actually admit he hasn't prepared a concession speech.

CNN calling it - that too many moderates view the GOP as going too far right and do not associate with that view. It has cost the GOP considerably. Will they move towards the center? I doubt anytime soon. After they lose in 2016 they will have to move back towards the center.

And this... haha

Great night so far! What an immense amount of relief. Romney is/was scary.

I'm in Chicago and there is a great atmosphere. We are all waiting for Obama to come out and address the crowd.

Virginia to be called soon I think. Florida looking good. Concede Mitt!

Much of a muchness again. Everything as it was prior to the election. Obama in the White House, the Republicans control the House, and Democrats run the Senate.

Maybe this will finally be the end of the Tea Party. Republicans should be running scared of them.

Jim Graves just pulled ahead of Michelle Bachmann for the first time tonight, 50.1%-49.9%

Shit, could that happen?

This night is bordering on perfect if so.

Not quite...we have the looming changes to the Scotus to look forward to. The political landscape for a few generations will shift because of this victory.

That's a fake account, right?

Biden in 2016?!

If Obama pulls no punches this time around, providing a remotely cooperative House, or the Dems win the house in 2014, will Biden ride the Obama gravy train?!

Gore couldn't.

The big question is, will the house Repubs co-operate with Obama now there's nothing to fight against, or will they obstruct him to make a newbie Repub more likely in 2016?

Because lets be honest, one of the major reasons Obama has a bad rep is because the opposition deliberately fecked him knowing the politically naive (i.e. most people) wouldn't know or care and blame any failures on the incumbent.

So, what will happen? In a bizarrely annoying way, the success of Obama's Presidency still relies on the fecking Republicans.

From what I recall Gore wanted to run on his own ticket without help from Clinton. I believe he felt the backlash from the roaring rightwing talk radio and all back then and wanted to run on his own agenda without connection to Clinton to perhaps persuade independents. It massively backfired IMO.

*More coffee*

Just hearing that the Colorado legislature is turning a vividi shade of blue too. Could be some local policies coming into play too.

Four states were voting on same-sex marriage, any results on that?

Still waiting on Virginia too.

Mitt Romney needs to get his ass up and concede. I've got a meeting to be at at 8:30. I'd like some sleep tonight.

Nobody took him cereal.
