This is accurate. All these voter suppression laws are just to make sure they get back in power and prevent the Democrats from holding onto the Presidency. If you look at the electoral map, you can see that the Republican's route to the Presidency is shrinking rapidly each cycle....unless they move to the middle in terms of the platforms.

I hope they do move to the middle, which is where most people are. This will generate an honest debate where both parties will seek to appeal to as many people as possible.

But the GOP must be brave to take the risk.
 
I tune into Fox News. The first thing I hear is some "analyst" saying the conspiracy of this Administration is to get more people dependent on Government to create a permanent Democrat voting majority and this is what Romney meant by his comments.

I switch off after 20 seconds.

I have 15gb of free space and mine will do 23 minutes of 640x480. I guess you would need 45gb of free space.

You can get 32GB phones + 32GB SD card (the fella probably had an Android phone as opposed to an iPhone) so thats at least 60GB worth of video (assuming he hasn't got much else stored/installed on his phone). Might have also used a compressed video format.

When will we get to know who the Republican candidate is? They're cutting it a bit fine.

I mean - Mitt Romney is a joke, right? Who is the real one?
 
The best part about the Romney 47% gaffe is that it neuters the class warfare line from the right. Of all the problems facing this country, Obama saying mean things about millionaires and billionaires is pretty far down the list.
 
As I suspected, the Libya stuff has made no difference - or possibly even helped Romney. Polls back where they were before the convention now.

Some good news though, in that the Dems seem to have closed the turnout gap, which was Romney's big hope.
 
I think you will see a lot of people on the campaign trail fronting Romney about calling them moochers. I don't think Romney has the ability to handle exchanges like that without looking like a rich dick.
 
I have over heard a few hallway conversation on Mittens today. Its rare to hear political talk in the office but he seems the butt of everyones jokes, EVEN teh GOP die-hards.
 
The new piece 538's done on the effects of whether polls use mobiles or not is interesting - Obama's lead is way bigger if you only use polls that do. I think it was fairly widely assumed that it was the case, but the numbers were bigger than I expected.

Pew Research has Obama up by 8 nationally. Obama 51 Romney 43 Likely Voters
Fox News poll has Obama up by 7 in Ohio. Obama 49 Romney 42 Likely Voters

EDIT not all bad news for Romney though.

Romney leads Obama by 1 nationally and 3 in New Hampshire....

Am I completely biased or stupid or something? All these videos and tapes of Obama that keep coming out seem to be making him look good rather than bad. Malkin is on Hannity reacting to some video that was completely uncontoversial yet she is making out that it was the voice of Stalin or something.

These people are nutters. Malkin is just weird....but I'd bang the nasty out of her.

I was watching the 'redistribution' video with my wife when it was on Ed Shultz...both of us said we agreed with him. It was really like when earlier in this campaign when Obama spoke about 'Fairness'.

They are clutching at straws.

Today all the GOP senators did not take any questions on the '47 %'
