I went over to r/conservative just to get a sense of what they were talking about and I came across this thread about some investigation into Biden. Does anyone know what this is about? Does it have enough legs to cost Biden the election?

I went to Wiki to look up if Michigan has the death penalty. Turns out they have it specifically for "treason against Michigan". I'm certain all pro death penalty people all over the US will agree that if ever there was a time and place for the death penalty it is here and now.

The Gateway Pundit, the site they're using as "evidence", is a far right conspiracy site known for a whole host of false rumours and hoaxes. The story doesn't seem to exist anywhere else. I can't see it having any legs, no

The Michigan Governor plot is wild. I can only imagine many more are/were in the planning stages. Perhaps this news will end any other plot, or curtail the majority of.

I was actually thinking it belongs in the Trump thread. You reap what you sow, kinda thing - except that's usually meant negatively, while Trump would love it if it happened.

Articles like this are problematic and don't help anything.

The reason is because this silly author instantly leaps to stupid conspiracy theory themselves which makes them lose complete reliability. There is a troubling lack of calling out what's going on but its not because the "Democrats and corporate media" are in some conspiracy to cover it up. It's because they are weak and self-interested.

Some things are troubling because they are a troubling trend not because there is some vast conspiracy by the Democrats to "cover-up Trump's role". This type of article is exactly why the left and liberals are losing the messaging. Because instead of calling things out for what they are, they fall into ridiculous conspiracy theories that don't make sense either.

And uncompromising socialism isn't the answer either. This is the problem with the left currently
 
Glad I wasn't the only one that read that wsws article as conspiracy nuttery. As I was reading I thought this is something I'd see from TGP or BB or hear from (insert name) hate talk radio segment with the variables changed.
