US Politics

They would certainly nominate one, not sure if there would be enough time to ram it through given that its only 6 weeks off. The Dems would also obviously attempt to stall as much as possible so they could mobilize their voters in the lead up to the election.

They also have the lame duck period, if the Senate flips.

What about the selective germophobia your father suffers from (as well as bone spurs)?

I'm no medical doctor, although I used to be one on the internet, but I find it interesting that a person can have selective heel spurs. Like, trek through the jungles of Vietnam serving your country...nope. But waddle around an 18 hole golf course four times a week, no problem!

It'll be f*cling amazing watching Mitch McConnell explain how a lame duck Senate confirming a scotus is normal after the sh*t he pulled last year. Absolute evil scumbag.

It won't be a win if they are able to get their Supreme court majority before the midterms.

Just one question: Where are all the attractive women we see in American Procedural and Political dramas in that Senate Bldg hallway?

They re at their desks. You may think I joke but having worked out there and having spent a fair amount those hallways there is an unusual amount of attractive women in some of those offices.

A proportion of the population of a country is extremist right wingers. Yeah.

This is not about Trump, anyway. Things that transcend him are in play here.

There’s a massive overlap between the people that voted for trump, and the massive support from the population that this appointment still has. If most of the country protested this appointment, do you think they would be able to speak about it as the nothing they’re trying to treat it as?

Things that transcend him are in play, like how warped the minds of a lot of the people in the country are.

Didn't her lawyers straight up say they paid for it? Like, what the feck is this drooling idiot getting at?

They said that they were representing her pro bono. about the polygraph, i think that she said she still has to check how are things gonna be handled and she talked about go fund me made for her.

Lindsey's completely loco

They were just saying on CNN that people thought he was going to be the new Mccain and that now, he became a bulldog for Trump. they say that a reason for that is that south Carolina is a trump state and that he wants trump support for his next election there.

Well...Trump controls GOP voters...the same voters Lindsey needs to get reelected in 2020, so there's the answer.

Or maybe this is the real Graham. Trump's election has shown many people we thought to be normal showing their true colors.

Yes, there is a partisan divide. Politics like sport has become tribal. Still, from the poll only 29% of the overall respondents support the nomination. And that is why it is likely that he is going to be pulled.

Seems about right. It's also very much a matter of him showing his true colors, the man has been melting down alright. Somehow he reminds me so much of an older version of Pete Campbell.

Nuh uh, 29% support it when assuming the allegations are true.
