Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.
He might win, but in Virginia, the votes from the rural areas always come earlier. Once the votes from the northern parts of the state (as well the Richmond area) come, the picture changes. Not saying Northam will win, but it's important to keep that in mind at this early stage.Oh for FFS, Gillespe is winning.
Yup, hopefully these returns are indicative and there aren't any nasty surprises.
Don't worry so much about the topline yet, check the link berba posted and scroll down to the live estimate (bit with the needle), gives a good idea as to where the returned votes are compared to the baseline of a tied vote.Oh for FFS, Gillespe is winning.

Trailing Northam but gaining in the race. Maybe it's the old Clinton in Clinton County curse striking, which is a big deal if you're called Fairfax and want to win VA!The L-G, Fairfax, is a far more progressive candidate than Northam, and is trailing heftily. If he loses, it punctures my Bernie-would-have-won belief (but with caveats).

Did Fairfax go for Fairfax?
