What did I tell youse about Ivanovic - Useless.

I fancy Jankovic to be beaten today. Zheng is a great player

Zheng ran Jankovic very close today. 7-5, 7-5. Saved at least 5 match points, but Jelena finally prevails.

Ivanovic is really useless....

Tommy Haas providing the drama for the day, mouthed off to the umpire about a ball he thought was out (but clearly in when shown in replays), called the umpire insane, mad etc. He was leading 6-2, 6-2, 6-6 in the 3rd set.

Lost his focus, lost the tiebreak, and lost the game 6-2, 6-2, 6-7, 3-6, 3-6.

Djokovic lost in my dream last night. Who is he up against next?

Dreaming about him cant be good zing!

He plays Marin Cilic the Croatian next. Not sure when.

Roddick is down a set at the moment, maybe two soon.

Nadal through to round of 16. straight sets over Triocki. a bagel in the 3rd.

A good comeback from Murray kind of like the one against Gasquet. Although against better opposition he would have been punished.

Melzer tiring and also his injury problems obviously helped him. The bicep stuff is getting annoying now as well.

Nalbandian and Blake both out in straight sets.

I was watching Roddick last night and he got it back to one set all after being on the verge of going two love down. How did he do in the end?

Roddick won 3-6 7-5 6-2 7-5.

His opponent Ernest Gulbis is certainly a one to watch over the next few years.

Yea he looked good. He just went for everything though and had a lot of unforced errors. At one stage all Roddick was doing was getting it in play knowing that your man would eventually make a balls of it. He certainly looks like one for the future though.

Roddick's been around for ages. He was world number 1 before Federer knocked him off. Since then he's never quite been the same but I'm glad to hear he's doing well in this tourney.

I read an interview with Gulbis' former coach, and he claimed he would be a top 3 player if he "stopped going for every fecking hail mary shot". It was quite funny. He also took the piss out of his volleying saying that he calls him the "fly swatter" when he's at the net. If he tightens up his game I would say he's as big a prospect as Djokovic-whether he can is another story.

Is Federer out yet?

6-3, 6-3, 4-1 up at the moment. Looking very good, first serve % at 80 and only 9 ue's so far.

Stepanek's worm won't be coming out tonight, unless he meets Vaidisova later. :nervous:

Edit - Finished 6-3, 6-3, 6-2. Quality showing from Federer, just hope he can keep this up!

Murray through in straight sets against Wawrinka, decent performance. Will play Del Potro next.

The Williams sisters both easily went through to the next round as well.

All getting exciting in Men's.

Could be the Best open yet. Glad to See my Lad Roddick still around.

Hope Murray does well

I was so Berbahausted yesterday that I only managed to watch Nadal to struggle a little bit yesterday.

Ah I really hope Federer wins, I'm a bit of a fan boy I guess but I'd just hate for this to be the end of his major winning career and for his confidence and performance to keep declining. The win against Stepanek was impressive and should have killed off some demons from their last match in which Fed completely blew it.

Nadal still has the edge over him psychologically but Federer's matches always depend on how he plays, he's got that much ability. A win here and especially against Nadal would do absolute wonders for him and keep the rivalry well and truly alive.

What time is Djokovic playing today? Is the official US Open website providing live-streams??
