Really good fourth set really after the first three were both kind of lopsided with one of them playing well. Shame when that happens.
Congrats Nole.
Congrats Nole.
Shame for Federer.
Lost rythm in this tournament after the Fish withdrawl. Berdshit has always given Federer problems, and so the result is not as shocking as it may first appear.
Think Nole wins here, Murray AO, trying to win that AO for a third time in a row has broken many a man. Though having 4 different winners in a year, the definitive top 4, would be ideal.
I don't know why but I don't want Murray to win. Djokovic would be the only guy to win 2 GS' this year and being a Federer fan I guess I shouldn't want him to win. But Murray just annoys me for some reason.
But yeah, Djokovic is definitely the favorite now.
most people watch to see good tennis, they don't usually pick sides and hold grudges like football.
I'll be hoping the best man wins. As a Brit i'd like that to be Murray
Would love a Berdych - Del Potro final.
Murrays raised his game. Actually looks like a proper Slam Contender now whereas before he always looked like a player who had that bit missing. Smart money imo is to put a bet on Murray to win, he has excellent momentum after the Olympics.
What a stupid statement. You mean most people, who aren't big fans of any individual. So basically, it's the same as football really.
As I said, it's not a grudge. Can't think of a reason to hold a grudge against Murray. He's not exactly achieved great things to cause that. But for some reason, I don't find him likeable. I like Djokovic much more so I'd prefer Djokovic over Murray. But I like Del Potro's aggressive game and want him to push on and win more GS's so he'd be my first preference.
Not really. He looked garbage last night until Cilic had a brainfart in the second set. I still don't know who he managed to mess up the second set. 5-1 up , had set points and was 4-2 up in the TB as well. The match was there to be won for him.
Yet he turned it around and then dominated the match... that's what makes champions. To have the ability to come back from what looks like an impossible situation.
Agree with everything you said there! Don't want Murray winning so anything else would be fine. Would be absolutely delighted if Del Po won it though but I can't see him beating Djokovic.

well not everyone supports a football team or tennis player because they're successful. That's glory hunting
Listen to the crowds at these things, they'll applaud great play from both sets of players.
Don't have anything against anyone who doesnt find Murray likeable though. Hes certainly a bit dull but I'm not looking for tennis players to be larger than life.
I'd like to see Del Potro do well, he was progressing fantastically well until his injury.
Poor Tipsarevic. His backhand seemed so wrong but got him many points
I hope Murray wins it now. Djokovic has already won a lot.

typical murray. Loses his break straight away
