US Fall TV Start Dates

I am. I like the remake so far. It's very slick and stylish with plenty of action. Promising start.

Im watching quite a few of those other shows listed in the OP as well.

Yeah It's a lot of fun. I expected it to be quite rubbish but liked the first episode a lot. The guy from Lost is there as well :D

What else are you watching ? Defenders? Event? No Ordinary Family?

Yeah seen all of them except for Nikita. How good is Undercovers? I've not seen it after the pilot.

Lonestar got cancelled after just 2 episodes

Which as it was one of the 3 recomended series by the critics is bad news. Personally whilst I enjoyed the first ep, the second episode of the Event was shit. Yet to watch Boardwalk Empire.

Event has been decent till now. Hoping it does not go down the route of Flashforward though. We need some new show along the lines of 24 and Lost which will keep us going for several seasons.

The Defenders is a very good show as well. It's been getting the best ratings till now among the new shows as yell.

Of the new shows, I've only been watching Outsourced and No Ordinary Family.

Outsourced's losing its witty charm pretty quickly. Hazlewood can't actually do the accent (which is fair play, a lot of us can't do our ethnic accents that well) and the whole thing just seems weak. I'm gonna keep watching though, it's still a decent show, just not as good as I was hoping.

No Ordinary Family's looked really good. They way they're choosing to develop the story is good. I'm glad that the first two episodes didn't sort of go "oh wow we got powers let's go" and they're finding ways to develop their powers. I'd never seen the guy actor before but everyone told me he was really good and they were right. Really watchable show.

Vic Mackey from Shield. He's a great actor :D

I'm just worried that No Ordinary Family might go down the Heroes path a bit. Specially the end of that 2nd episode...

Thought the second episode was dross. The flashbacks were more annoying than innovative and didn't really add to the storyline. How many of those supposed shock revelations couldn't you see coming a mile off.

He's seriously really good. I'm pretty sure I've said it before, but I'll say it again, there are some people who don't just act a part, they actually become the character and he's one of them. Tim Roth does this as well.

I never saw Heroes but I've heard the first season was class, the second was alright and then it went to crap. Assuming they can keep it going past the second season then it's an improvement, right?

Yes Mackey and Tim Roth too, great actors. He's really really good in Lie to Me :D

As for Heroes, sure it was brilliant in the first season. Lord knows what happened to it after that. Shocking fall from grace.

What I meant by not wanting it to go the Heroes way was that it should not end up being a show based on their abilities and super powers. They should maintain that family element in the shower which makes it great fun to watch right now.

The end of the 2nd episode made me feel slightly uneasy about what road this show is going to take in the future.

T-Bag is back. At least in a cameo in this new series from the producers of Prison Break:

I haven't watched a single new series this year other than the US version of Shameless. No Ordinary Family is the only one I'm considering giving a go but I've bugger all time lately so I'll wait til the full thing airs.

I thought it was shit. Have started watching 'The Middle' which is alright. Nothing great mind.
