US Fall TV Start Dates

New Season New Shows

So lots of new shows premiered and lots of old shows returned with new seasons last night.

So how were the shows?

The new ones like The Event, Chase, Hawaii 5-0, Mick and Molly?

And as for the older shows, Two and a Half men, HIMYM, Rules of Engagement, Castle, House and Chuck all returned. Anyone seen the shows? How were they? :D

Mick and Molly was garbage..

didnt see any of the other new shows..

House was different...Two and Half Men was, well, your typical episode, some alright moments, overall a good time pas..

Rules of Engagement was also same as above, typical episode, basically just like any other episode in the series, which isn't a bad thing at all if thats what you are looking for, some light hearted laughs.

HIMYM, again, same again..

These have become shows I watch, but dont really get overly excited about nowadays..

Shows I do overly get excited about watching new epis are the likes of Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Entourage, Inbetweeners, 30 Rock, and Modern Family...

Shows I look forward to most nowadays though, strangely enough, Daily Show with Jon Stewart!

Just watching the 2.5 Men episode. It's the same as always but it's great fun :D

Jake and the threesome

Rules of Engagement is always really funny so going to watch that next. Got lots of shows downlaoded and ready to watch! :D

The Event after that I think..

How was the Boardwalk Empire pilot?

Charlie Harper is beginning to look like John Terry with that new haircut

A show that I actually wish was renewed.

Oh, I recommend people watch The Big C too. Nice little dark comedy on Showtime with Laura Linney, first few episodes have been good.

Not looking forward to HIMYM or The Office as much as I used to, they're just milking them too much and the quality has really gone downhill.

Chuck is back
I don't have much interest in The Office this season because the last one was so off putting.

I still think HIMYM is a great show. I think I read somewhere that the creator only planned for a certain number of seasons of the show, but CBS ordered 1 more than he planned so last year was a lot of filler.

Watched HIMYM Season 6 Episode 1st today, thought it was very good. Barney was ofcourse brilliant again. Also a little bit more was revealed about Ted's future wife so it was a good watch, I really hope that this season is a lot better than the season5 which was ultimately disappointing.

The first episode of HIMYM current season is a very good one. Looks like they're planning to get the show back on track after a disappointing last season.

Here's hoping. The finale of the last season was a massive disappointment.

HIMYM imo has been disappointing ever since Stella entered the show. Was brilliant before that.

I'll definitely be watching Boardwalk Empire, looks fantastic.

The Event looks like fun too.

I recommend The Big C to folks.

It's got Rachel Bilson kissing another woman, of course it was very good.

Barney's reaction to it also made me laugh
But the scene was sexy. Think that wedding in which Ted will finally meet his wife will be of Robin and Barney?

Did anyone see Undercovers and The Defenders last night?

There's a show with Michael Chiklis in it that I'm looking forward to. "No Ordinary Family".

Premieres Monday. Hopefully it's fun!

The Defenders was good fun.

Hurley's chick from Lost was in it as well I think.

Better with you has got some decent reviews.

Oh and Fringe, Mentalist and BBT are out as well :D

Thanks for that. I'm really looking forward to it. Along with Outsourced (what did everyone else think of it, btw?) it's one of the new series which has piqued my interest.

Also, House is on tonight in the States. Here's hoping episode 2 is a bit more 'normal', in the House sense of the word.

No problem.

It looks like a fun show. Even 2 months back it had gotten good reviews based on the pilot.

As for Outsourced, how was it? I have it downloaded and I think I might watch it right now.

Either that or Undercovers or Chase

Oh thanks for reminding me about Outsourced. Just watched it and being from India I enjoyed it even more. Got it's moments

Has anyone seen Hawaii Five-0? I know it's a remake but it's been getting very good reviews generally.

No worries. I was talking to my friends about it earlier and technically it should be crap. It's racist, plays to stereotypes, has horrendous accents and doesn't ever make you laugh hard. However, I'm really looking forward to the next episode because it still entertained me. Hopefully it keeps it going. I'm going to need a new comedy to fill the void the Inbetweeners has left.

Yeah it does play to stereotypes but I'm Indian and I din't find it too racist. And as you said it was entertaining :D
