United players that will be sold this summer

Whenever i read one of these threads it reminds me how many people don't have a clue. If you think we are getting rid of fellaini, young, mata or valencia then you must be joking. Three of those have been valuable players for us this season and all four have an important role in the squad.

Agreed that they wont be sold, they may not all be in the starting 11 next season but are good enough to have on the bench as an option, maybe with Fellaini however I wouldn't of minded if we took the opportunity to recoup some of his transfer fee back after his pretty good season, but Valencia has done a pretty good job at RB this season and a good squad player, Young has been brilliant and a great option to have and Mata ? He's been brilliant for us, Hugs for all I say.

I think

Evans
Rafael
Blackett
Cleverley
Hernandez
Falcao

will be the main players for us to leave which I don't mind, I love Rafael he's a warrior for us when on that field but unfortunately he's hardly ever on the field with injuries.

I'll give that a 0.5% chance of happening. LvG his plan B has always been to shove a big player forward to mix his passing game up with some diagonal long balls for a more direct route. Fellaini is perfect for this and has already proven himself to be quite good at it aswell. LvG also said he underestimated the physicality of the league and Fellaini is the only player besides Rooney who currently offers this in our midfield. We haven't got the tallest team either, I think he will be a valuable asset. Not sure if he'll be a guaranteed starter though.

Blackett probably won't be sold either, didn't he sign a new contract? A loan might suit him though, as he's clearly behind McNair in the picking order.

Agree re: blackett. I personally dont rate his positioning or his footballing brain, (remember that leicester game?!) But he has the physical attributes and some ability. I dont see him making it, but you never know

I personally don't see Blackett making it either right now, but van Gaal clearly sees something in him. He indeed has the physicality and he's quite good on the ball (he has a good long pass) but his defensive awareness isn't great. If van Gaal thinks he can improve that I'm all for keeping him aswell.
