Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Don't be embarrassed, stake your claim to the players that aren't glamorous galactico types, but you think would work wonders in this current Utd side.

First one from me - Jamie Vardy.

Him running in behind with Pogba seeking him out, and flanked by Rashford and Martial would absolutely run riot in the PL.

Adama Traoré in the games where we set up super defensively. For most of those games we find it hard to get out of our half. Having Adama would help massively with his insane ball retention and runs.

Is Juan Cuadrado technically still a PL player? I always thought he would be excellent for us.

Was it LVG who pulled the plug when we were about to sign him?
Not sure. The guy has always been one of the best wingers in the Prem. I'm a big fan of Bolasie aswell but not sure if he's United quality. Zaha on the other hand should have never been sold. He's showing his true class this season.

I don't want to sound like Wenger at his most hipster, but I liked the look of Marcos Alonso when he broke through at Bolton, and then again at Sunderland. Good left back who attacks and defends well. He's chipping in with goals too.

It's such a dangerous road to walk. One day you'll wake up and half the team is filled with junk. We'd be like Milan. A huge club should never settle with good enough, only the very best should come. Some standard requirements like flawless passing should always be included. I don't want a player playing only for himself like Traore or Vardy.

Define unfashionable? Like Charlie Adam levels?

Defoe is probably up there.

Leighton Baines is probably the ideal Mourinho full back for this team. Can cross from deep and has built a solid relationship with Fellainis head

I remember when we were scouting to sign him as a right back meanwhile he was scoring braces for Fiorentina at CF

Michael Keane
Joe Allen
Wilf Ndidi

Gylfi, Ndidi, Cedric, Robertson. Not sure about excelling, but they'd all be useful enough.

Oriol Romeu - Solid Defensive midfielder. 25 years old. He is developing very well. Reports are saying Barca might be keen on having him back.

Wilfred Ndidi - Midfielder who can also play accross the backline. He looks like he might end up better than Kante with time. Diamond in the rough. Packs a good shot. Real hustler. Just 20.

Ryan Betrand - One of the most consistent and best full backs in the EPL in the last few years. I am big on consistency when it comes to footbal so he's a natural choice for me.

Said it before but I think Josh King would be a canny signing to cover and compete with Rashford. 16 goals in the league this season.

I'd take those three for £70m. Done.

No mention of Antonio? He always seems to have a goal in him and quite versatile.

Certainly agree with mentions of Romeu.

Have you learned nothing about this forum? The masses don't like unfashionable Premier League players, especially if they're English, they're "Average".
