So far the trend is UKIP biting into Tory votes in Labour strongholds... hopefully that's replicated in the marginal seats.

If Farage fails to win in Thanet i'd tip Douglas Carswell for the party leadership (provided that he holds Clacton of course).

Sunderland are known historically to get their results out first so they've got a reputation to maintain. Think they have more volunteers than other places.

Oh right, makes sense I was just finding it all a bit odd.

Wonder how many votes went against Labour/for Tory because of the threat of an SNP-Labour coalition.

Andy Burnham has been touted. He is a scouser with a bit of an accent and seems a bit more like a real human being in comparison to Ed and Dave.
He's decent assuming they want to stay to the left. Comes across well IMO and could fit that role

Other option is get Dave to come back and move towards the right.

Ed Balls is trying to say this isn't a great result for Cameron because he doesn't have a majority.

Some betting odds have Tories at 1/100 to have most seats, with Labour at 25/1 for some. Looking grim.

The pre-planned party lines have been fecked up monumentally, they were probably prepared for Tories on 290-ish tops.

Jesus, he's talking about how Miliband might get in ahead of Cameron based on the exit polls.

The first results counted.

Yeah, I know but I just found it weird that they were all coming from Sunderland. Damien said Sunderland are known for being quick at counting. Guess this is the only thing going for that place.
