Good point there. There were talk that his own members were rallying against him not long ago. I think though he has enhanced his persona to the public during the campaign and IMO he performed better than Cameron.

I agree. Don't like his party, but he's probably one of the better people in it.

YouGov: Conservatives 284, Labour 263.

On the plus side, the Lib Dem's have been gutted. I'll never understand the appeal of the Tory party to some people, it's insane. All politicians are generally cnuts, but the Conservatives are bigger, worse cnuts than the rest.

All Tony Blairs fault. He is the main reason Tories will get 10 years of power.

An absolute cnut.

Good news if you've got a holiday booked anytime soon, The Pound just got a just got a shot of steroids.

BBC coverage pissing me off.
Too many fancy graphics

It's like the Superbowl, or the big fight again

There's the shy Tory factor, we could still yet have a Tory majority!

Oh shit. I didn't realise that was a real thing. I've always found people who vote Tory to be pretty brash about it.
What about all the late voters? Everyone I saw at the polling station an hour ago looked like they'd vote Labour (clutching at straws here)!

YouGov exit poll - CON 284 MPs, LAB 263, LIBS 31, SNP 48, UKIP 2, PLAID 3, GREEN 1

Just to clarify, that YouGov one isn't an exit poll, it's the large poll they did yesterday.

They're fecking open about being cnuts too.

Don't even try and hide it. They are and always will be the nasty party.

I genuinely can't believe it. How the feck can the Tory vote have gone up in the last five years?

This is depressing as.

Economy. I'm not saying they're doing a stellar job with the national debt and deficit, but for me (as a former Lib Dem voter) I went with Conservative because I'd sooner have them in than let Ed Balls near the national treasury.

Please don't call me a cnut too, I'm a lovely bloke I promise. I'm not a millionaire, feck, at the moment I'm studying whilst working as a trolley boy in a supermarket. I just genuinely think they're the best thing for the country at present.

22 K is Pretty good sample size for UK.

Though if they have done seat by seat then it could feck up.

Come on lads, we can do this. Get behind 'em! Labour, Labour, Labour, Labour! feck off Tories, feck off Tories!

Did anyone else have to use a pencil to tick their box ? Ummmm......

Dam You Alien Over Lords!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lot of room for error. We're talking 20 odd million people voting (if the turnout is around 50%).
Statistically significant sample though.

But, as I mentioned earlier, in 92 the exit poll said Tories would be 25 short, ended up with a majority of 20 odd. Very close elections with multiple variable are hard to model.

Very hard to be positive right now though.
