Man we would have been better off independent. This whole election is a joke. The whole country votes SNP and gets Cameron. Now we have a fecking 20 year old as MP. Embarrassing!

Has their been any talk of another referendum

No but I imagine there will be when we get a EU referendum and we'll vote to stay in the EU but it won't matter what we vote because the rest of the UK will vote to leave. Then we'll see calls for it I guess.

Jesus Christ. Some rough looking broads on the stage in Falkirk.

You wanna talk about poverty and blame it on the SNP? I don't even know what to say. I honestly don't. You must be the Cal? of the GE thread.

Your lack of self-awareness is staggering.
My self-awareness is fine. I don't like her and think she will ultimately be damaging for the SNP. Poisonous little dwarf that wants to destroy the union.

This is a much bigger swing than I ever thought it would be. Insane.

It's not really in any question now, it's a slaughter. 6 hours ago he was odds on for PM. Mental. Political future in general in question.

No it hasn't. Labour are going to get destroyed anyway by the looks of things, and the Tories may be heading for a majority. Blame your own parties failings.

You seem to missing the SNP influence on English votes. Okay its tories shit flinging tactics but the SNP still gave them an easy story to tell.

It seems quite clear that the actual candidates in Scotland haven't come into it, the votes are all simple minded nationalism

They want to break up the UK...

Not that I agree with it, but they have there reasons surely? Its not just for shits and giggles.

As a poster above said, they're going to end up with SNP in virtually everyone of their constituencies, yet have the Tories leading them.

Okay then, keep telling us all that, and then wonder why we're not voting for the parties you'd rather we did.

If the SNP have influenced English voters, that's not their own fault.

David Mitchell is really not taking Labour's thrashing well on Channel 4

Aye. She's certainly damaged the SNP thus far

Poisonous? No. That would be your bigoted and xenophobic comments...

Makes a mockery of the British system.

Wtf. Did I just hear the Lib Dems get 80 (eight-y) votes in one seat?

Sturgeon argued in the debates for country level referenda if we have to have an EU ref. It's going to an absolute mess in the run-up for it whatever happens, particularly in the Tory party. I'm not looking forward to it.

:(....I hope we stay in the UK and England just fecks off now. Please force another referendum SNP! Here we are with people with zero life (20 years old is ridiculous) experience leading parts of the country. An absolute mess.

If Cameron lost his seat, could he still be Prime Minister?

Technically he could be given a peerage and be PM from the House of Lords, but that is of course unthinkable as it could never happen in reality.

Stuff diarm has learned this morning:

People in the UK will vote in 20 year old student into a seat with a 30% swing over a member of the shadow cabinet, but they won't vote for a reasonable candidate as Prime Minister because he looks like an extra from Wallace and Gromit.

My self-awareness is fine. I don't like her and think she will ultimately be damaging for the SNP. Poisonous little dwarf that wants to destroy the union.
 What Union Jippy ?

If this election doesn't prove to you that Scotland and England are two completely different counties then nothing will. It's also sheer politeness that's keeping this 'Union' together.

Why does everyone hate the SNP anyway? Educate me people

Sturgeon-mania has concealed a policy platform which isn't all that remarkable for one, and then the whole independence thing tends to rub people up the wrong way.

A protest vote if ever one was cast. 20 years old, shouldn't even be legal.

People like myself gave support to England leading Scotland...after tonight...no fecking way. Seriously hope Scotland leaves now.
