Let's hope the senior squad can replicate the performance of the U19s. All over this Juve U19 side. Greenwood looking very lively.
2-0 this is actually a fabulous game to watch. bloody nuisance that I have to pretend to work
We're one of the strongest teams in it.How close do our lads match up with the rest in the Youth League? Good enough for a proper chance at winning?
How close do our lads match up with the best European’s in the Youth League? Obviously very strong domestically, but good enough for a proper chance at winning this?
Hopefully we'll see a few before the end of the season, quite a few of them are still with the u18s though (Traore, Greenwood and Laird) so don't think we'll see them near the first team before they have a decent go with the u23s.3-1. some of these boys should be on the 1st team bench occasionally
Not to hype BUT, Traore is Pogba!!
Angel has gotten so much better with his defense. Is he a CM now instead of an AM?
They'll be on the YouTube channel in the next few days.Where can I see highlights of this match?
Seems to be emulating Kieran McKenna/Neil Ryan and the way they play.I can't imagine who Nicky Butt has modelled his management style on and what he wants from his team

Hopefully the lads with real potential have their heads screwed on the right way, unlike Morrison. In fairness to us, we produce 2 or 3 players every couple of years in the academy with great potential. From morrisson and co a few years back to this bunch, it’s impressive and great to see.
It would be class to see as many of these lads as possible break into our first team over the next few years.
Every player has been good in this game so far. Garner and Gomes dictating midfield. Traore like previously mentioned, very Pogba like, without the sloppiness. Greenwood with another clinical center forward finish. The right back Laird, excellent.
Our lad, lee o Connor at left back looking so assured again for his age.
The pressing from us has been great and the intensity to win the ball back once we lose it again brilliant.
Of course, this is a different level but some really enjoyable stuff being played here by Nicky butts lads so far.
Absolutely. Lots can happen between now and becoming a regular in the first team.Hopefully the lads with real potential have their heads screwed on the right way, unlike Morrison.
It is unfortunately having to drop the bad influences in your life and realising that you really do have to work hard to get to the top.Absolutely. Lots can happen between now and becoming a regular in the first team.
It was Traore.Nearly make it 4-1, I think it was Traore with a nice turn and shot.
Falling with style.Very theatrical from the Juve player there, even gave a little hair flick as he went down
That's what I thought, I just thought Mellor had fooled him. We've took the sting out of the game, playing a more measured, patient game. We'll score another yet.
Bohui off for Mellor.
Juventus player seems to have been fouled by the air to deny us a clear counter.
