Uefa Youth League - Liverpool v Manchester United

Who do we recon is a bigger talent Chong or Gomes?

Apart from Chong my word we've accumalted some bang average cloggers.

You're absolutely clueless about our youth teams. Please stop posting in this thread.

Where are Traore and Puigmal mate
Traore injured. Pugimal now being given a run of games after not having his International clearance sorted in Septempber which meant he wasn't initially part of Uefa Youth Squad

Chong is absolute class.

In terms of talent there's not much between them but Chong certainly imposes himself on games much better.

Great play by Chong again. Himself and Woodburn look head and shoulders above the rest here. There's been a Liverpool CM who has made a few stunning passes but haven't clocked his name.

Close from Chong. He looks the most likely to make something happen.

Also, I need to watch more youth games. I've been pronouncing Bohui wrong in my head for months now :(

So hard not to get excited about Chong, he's such a good player, can't imagine where he'd be now if he hadn't had that long term injury.

Chong is quicker and stronger. Gomes better with the ball. Both can make it but I fear they will take some nasty tackles which could ruin their progress

Chong could have had a hatrick today.

feck. Completely undeserved this.

Been a bit disappointed with Barlow today, he's usually much better than this.

Chong head and shoulders the best player on the pitch. Only one that looks likely to make something out of nothing.

That Adekanye kid from Liverpool is good.

feck... Sake... 2-0 to Scouse.

Feels nearly as bad as the real thing.

Again keeper is suspect for the goal.

Game over, against the run of play but if you don't take your chances this is what happens unfortunately. 2-0 Liverpool.

Great strike. Unlucky for us, but we haven't made the most of our chances or possession in this half.

The Dutch wingers have been the best players. Liverpool's one in the first half. Ours in the second half.

Amazing how rational and civil people are on here when it's the youth teams. Actually a breath of fresh air, I'm expecting a shit show in the Sevilla vs United thread later tonight.

Isn't he Gomes' cousin?

Have any notable relatives played for such bitter rivals, respectively?

Not players but nephew of our Club secretary John Alexander is playing for Liverpool's first team(TAA).

Dunno about at club level but the Boateng brothers played for different countries, they met in the world cup after Kevin-Prince injured Ballack if I remember rightly.

No idea. Would be fun if he was, though! I can’t recall any.

There are exceptions like @Nate Dogg but yeah it's relatively great here. Definitely my favorite football related forum on Caf.
