UEFA Youth League 2023/24

Playing a little better now. Jesus Christ, Wheatley

Really good by Forson that.

Got some control back now, looks more 50/50 maybe leaning slightly to us. Need better decisions from the wings though, keep losing it there.

Kobbie not quite up to pace so less on the ball than we'd like but obviously different class once on it. Literally cannot be dispossessed.

Anyone know where Oscar Hojlund is (assuming Emil's the one who's starting)? Injured? Bench? Not fancied?

Gore's as natural a footballer as they come, fantastic talent.

How've we not scored that?!

Wheatley killing a few attacks with easy misplaced passes, bit of a shame. Forson cooking though. Mainoo and Gore running the middle.

First 10 minutes they were all over us, last 35 we were the better team. Don't mind Wheatley but he's noticeably been the weakest link in attack today.

It’s sounds like we are lacking a clinical edge. Thats definitely an area we can improve, especially in tight games.
Hopefully Ennis coming back can help in this regard. Glad Mainoo and Gore seem to be doing well.

Bayern Munich disappointing for another year, it's incredible how they dominate a market as big as the German one and are incapable of having a decent academy.

Not going to happen but I would like to see Gore and Mainoo together in midfield in the FA Cup's early rounds. Shame United haven't had a manager who could try something like that since LVG.

Should think about introducing Lacey soon.

The lad who's just come on for Copenhagen, Neo Jonsson, is a special player. Keep an eye out.

Williams and Wheatley have been really poor.

Horrendous goal to concede, just gave him a free run at our goal.

The kids are being coached to replicate the first team pretty well... struggle to score and a few mistakes in there :nervous:
