UEFA Champions League Round of 16 - 4/3/25 - 12/3/25

Watching Madrid play versus United is like when you change the default sprint speed setting on FIFA to the fastest!

It would be vintage Simeone to score the goal they needed within 30 seconds and then shithouse their way to penalties for the next 120 minutes

Gallagher, forced out of Chelsea, now scoring big CL knockout goals vs Real Madrid. Love to see it. Buzzing for him.

I didn't see the goal, only got home when it was 5 minutes in, but he's playing really well. His workrate and positioning is exceptional and he's broken forward a couple of times too.,

Red card Bruges, good call by the referee.

That's that then, switching over to the Madrid game.

Whenever I’ve watched Vinicius, he’s always been very ‘meh’.

Had he not played for Real, he’d be nowhere near the Balon D’Or chat.

He has been very clutch in UCL, guess you just watched the wrong games.

We so need a player that can carry the ball between the lines. Stark how we just can't do it.

I always think it's a brave call to make a statement like this about a world class player 20 minutes into a game.

Couldn’t just be a case of you anecdotally not catching him at his best rather than everybody else being wrong?

His performance at Anfield when they won 5-2 was when I started to sit up and take notice of him being a future Ballon d'Or winner.

Atletico must transform this dominance in goals, if not...we all know, Tibu great as almost always

Always felt like Griezman would step up to top 10 in the world levels...but didn't. Ridiculously smooth player, would have loved him as our 7.

Another great save by Tibu and Julian is on fire...yet they must score

If Atletico can score again before half time, this will have been the perfect European half of football. They've completely shut Real down, haven't given them a second on the ball, kept the perfect shape and had all the best chances. Just need to capitalise now.

Griezmann has evolved into such a intelligent number 10. Always finds a teammate with his passes, if necessary with a first touch, no ball retention or bs. Hes so good at the free role

One of the glazers greatest hits, never singing the guy when he wanted to come to us

That was a great watch. Hopefully Atletico don't come to regret not making the most of dominating that half.

Real going out would be fantastic for the competition. I think Bayern, Inter, Barca or PSG if that happens.
