UEFA Champions League Round of 16 - 4/3/25 - 12/3/25

we arent in the form or have the quality of 2019/20 - but we may be :D
We aren't, but Inter aren't as good as last season.

Depends on whose defense blinks first. Or individual brilliance will be the decisive factor.

Newcastle will have been happy to see this game go all the way to penalties to tire the Liverpool players before the cup final on Sunday, TAA and Konate went off injured as well .

It is a bit unfair to Pool after having dominated the league phase to play Paris (certainly a top 5 team in Europe currently) in the first KO…. And the french side certainly deserved to win this tie having been clearly and by some margin the better team over two legs.
Hahaha! Pools fully deserved what they got.

Yes. Not good
Maybe a good assistant? What he was talking about personality on the pitch, made a lot of sense. Even when you are young.
Was talking about this to Rooney who dominated PL and international games at 18 so maybe not the best audience but not everyone is like him.
Wouldn’t mind him in some capacity at Utd focusing on the progression from youth to first team.

Everyone knew that. Slot knew it too.

It's true the team was knackered (so was PSG), that also Trent wasn't fit, yet he left a team of kids and serial bad finishers to seal the deal, some strange decisions by Arne today

I'm not his biggest fan. Seems to need at least three touches of the ball before he knows what he's going to do next.

Indeed, yet he still is young and he at least dares, has some fire in his belly to hustle and to make a bold play. Dunno what will come in the future, not someone I'll bet too much, but I won't loose all faith either.

Just knew Darwin Nunez was gonna miss……
He may be not good enough to play at the highest level and yet Goncalo Ramos is not for sure as well, without being let hung to dry as the perfect scapegoat. Fair to say Slot mismanaged this matter big time, didn’t Nunez want to go to Arabia in January?

Not a lot of people mentioned Pacho but I thought he was outstanding in both legs
I hadn’t seen much of him prior to the first leg, but he did play well across the tie. I think Marquinhos is an excellent defender too and doesn’t get enough credit. He’s perhaps had the odd bit of misfortune in the CL (similar to Thiago Silva previously) but he’s been one of top defenders in Europe for several years now.
