UEFA Champions League Round of 16 - 4/3/25 - 12/3/25

I do not see it either, so I really feel bad for them.

Having said this, I do not see atoms. But they are there. Science tells us they are there.

PS. Obviously it is all a joke. I don't feel bad for them.

They must have some sensor shyte.

It's a good oportunity to change the rule, as much it should be retaken in cases like this one, thougth in this particular case that even feels too much

PD: I think from a Madrid fan perspective, to win like this against Aleti, after winning so many CLs and denying them so many times feels even a LOT better

What game did you watch? very far from that. Yet indeed they should have finish better some of their chances, specially the Correa and Sorloth ones
What did you watch? Did you watch first half? That's what I was talking about. Correa chances were end of game/ extra time and that too on counter.

They absolutely battered ye in the first half. They should've gone in at least 3 nil up.

Did Oblak even touch the ball in the first 45?

They never ceased to try, this wasn't one of those classic park the bus matches at all.

How many is that for the season?

It's a bit silly claiming Rashford has done anything other than regress as a player.
If you're genuinely interested, that's something you can research yourself. My original post clearly stated that he's contributing. Whether you believe he's regressed or not is beside the point - kindly show me where my statement was incorrect. Meanwhile, you chose to spread false information by claiming he's not assisting. I understand that some people dislike him, but making things up just to fit a narrative isn't a good look.

I honestly can't believe they've made the decision to rule out that penalty, based on 10 seconds of looking at it. I've seen angles from pretty much all sides at this stage and it's absolutely not conclusive.

Sensors be damned as well, because the turf can impact the ball in the split second before contact just as easily as a second foot. Atletico should go nuclear on this.

Bloke on the radio just said that it was the automated offside technology cameras that found the double hit and not the tv cameras. No ball sensors involved. We'll see after the official statement.

Atletico fans surely hate Real Madrid more than Barca do at this point (or was that the case before anyway?). They just inevitably beat them every time. Tonight was really harsh with that penalty from Alvarez not being counted. Really didn't look like there was a double touch. Oblak should've saved Rudiger's shot though.

Even in super slow motion I don't see any double contact. On the other hand you can see that Alvarez's left foot ends up in front of the ball when he shoots, so it's hard to believe the ball didn't touch his left foot also.

You literally laughed at my post for making the same point even though I was even more cynical
What the feck are you on about mate? Re-read my posts.

I said I understood why Arsenal fans would prefer to face Real over Atletico
Someone responded to me saying "surely no Arsenal fan has said?!"
I responded to them by quoting you as evidence of them claiming that. In the same post, I said I could see where they were coming from.

You're not doing a good job of dispelling the stereotype about Arsenal fans being highly strung.

Possibly my eyes or the crap resolution but I can't really see it. Maybe, in the first angle, you can see the ball rotate clockwise a fraction?

My eyesight is perfect!

Just noticed there were matches yesterday. Couldn’t be bothered but hopefully Villa, Arsenal, Bayern, or Dortmund win it.

I can understand why Arsenal fans would prefer Real Madrid over Atletico in the next round. They're a ballache to break down. Feels like they'll find more gaps vs Madrid.

I’ve heard this a few times and just don’t understand it. Real Madrid, serial European winners and current holders with arguably the best manager in the world and genuinely some of the worlds best players and Arsenal would rather play them? Never in a million years.
