U23's Vs Everton (23rd October)

That was hilarious. What is clear from this game is that Brandon is way past this level now. He’s so much stronger, fitter and savvy than anyone out there. He looks like a senior player that’s dropped down to youth level to get some fitness, which can only be a good thing considering how new he actually is to the first team.

That was class CF play from Hugill and finished well by Elanga.

Ref blowing up for non fouls then doing nothing about some of evertons borderline reds.

Seems Everton brought their own ref.

Ref has been terrible. He’s called about 5 fouls on Fernandez and I couldn’t tell you what any of them were for.

Meanwhile two Everton players should have been sent off by now.

This ref has had an absolute shocker. Why was Pellistri booked?

That booking for Pellstri is pathetic. Referees at this level let reckless tackles off, persistent fouls off and then book someone for that  :wenger:

I really fear this team will get relegated.
It's a valid concern but I think we'll have enough quality over the course of the season, we've a very young team and some are still finding their feet.

I really like Fernandez - he looks quality
I would agree Ferandez looks a great prospect, very intelligent, sent in some great crosses into the box. Hannibal poor, struggled to get into the game. Williams best player on the pitch.

No no - Galbraith has been head and shoulders above everyone else

Agree with the Hannibal-thing. - But he has been poor for a long time

I would agree he had a decent game, needs to be more adventurous with his passing. Play it very safe all the time.

Its not his job. He is the defensive midfielder, the playmaker. And he has done that brilliantly.
