U23s vs Blackburn

This Blackburn team can't stop United. We've been so, so good going forward. Everyone's worked quite well together, and we had an added dimension once Levitt and McCann started making more runs forward to create more space.

Our fitness levels are too much.

Hannibal is made of strong stuff. Must be 8 fouls on him now.

Love that Hannibal, Shoretire and Diallo are all great technical players but work their arses off and buzz about non-stop too

One thing's for sure: Hannibal's going to annoy a bunch of football players at the first-team level. I wouldn't be surprised if he's one of the most fouled players as a first-team footballer.

Poor Hannibal. Nobody should have to put up with this. Ben Thornley will want to go ten rounds with the ref soon.

Absolutely fantastic team performance. Been a joy to watch. Shola Hannibal and Amad unreal

New signings?

Hannibal was signed about 18 months ago for 10 million euros, and Amad Diallo was signed in January for upwards of 20 million euros.

Blackburns keeper sounding like a young Tim Howard in these clips...

If Mjebri gets injured in U23, I am going to kill someone. Gets absolutely no protection.

I thought Amad wasn't even at his best tonight, but he still ends up coming away with 3 assists and a goal which says it all.

He's going to be huge!

So who for MOM? Shoretire with the hat-trick, Diallo with a goal and 3 assists, Mejbri has been majestic I have to say, with Neville with by far the best game I’ve seen him have. No CB’s and Elanga injured as well. This team is such a strange but wonderful team to follow.

Never knew there was another Mitchell brother until I seen this ref.

Hannibal by himself got kicked almost as much as the rest of the United team combined

Some of these players should be moved into the first-team squad for next season - they are that good

Such is their quality at this level: Amad, Shoretire, Hannibal seems like their playing in the school playground. Taking the P.

Blackburn look shell shocked they've found a team who can still play even when getting kicked off the park.

Mejbri's a serious, serious talent. He's looking like one of the best midfield talents we've had since Pogba. Shoretire's been incredibly intelligent with his possession, he's like Greenwood in that regard, never a wasted pass tonight and his positioning and composure was excellent. The technical of that front 3 was tantilising. There's no way Diallo stays at this level for long, he's incredible. Shout out to Harvey Neville doing his best Laird impression tonight.

Our lads have every right to take the piss against these thugs, hope we do a collective knee slide in front of the Blackburn dugout at the end of the game to celebrate.
