U23s Liverpool v United - Diallo scores twice on debut

Wind with us this half so should be more in the game

Another great press from amad. Love the way he keeps the ball close when he dribbles, always in control

Yeh I really don't think that's it. Not everyone kicks on how we would like. From what I've seen and heard I dont think his attitude and application is in question.
He did one of the Europa League press conferences last season. I can't remember exactly what the question was but it was something along the lines of him moving up to the first team and being part of the squad and he said he could easily drop back down to the under 23's. I think it raised a few eyebrows, perhaps he's very humble, lacks some self belief or possibly just because Solskjaer was sitting next to him and didn't want to look big headed.

Like you said though, not every young player who's possibly regressed has a bad attitude. There could be other reasons why this has happened.

If Ali was so fast, that he could switch off the light switch and be in bed before the room was dark, Diallo could easily take a nap, do some laundry and watch an episode of Friends in the same timeframe.

Diallo's having a really good debut.

This is the worst I have seen Fernandez play so far.
He's having a rough old time of it today, it's weird though because Woodburn's not exactly been brilliant either.

Amad involved again in the goal, he looks so class. Just does everything well. Great finish by haaland

Diallo has been brilliant. With his close control and low centre of gravity, should be brilliant dribbler.

What a goal.

Amads pressing alongside Fernandes and Cavani will really be a big thing for the first team!

Just need to get rashford on board with it too

Wow. Hannibal drops deep to play that ball, then great work from Amad and the goalscorer. Fantastic goal.

Him and Diallo the best players. Puigmal what is his preferred position?

Central midfield is where his best form has come. We strangely played him as an RB for a period but it goes to show how dynamic he is, he has fantastic qualities but I like that he's a confident ball-carrier, a lot of Grealish-esque qualities and that's not just his socks.

I know there’s no row z but sometimes just launch it into the wide open area

Hugill is so clinical.

That was a nice goal. From this current side I've got high hopes for Mejbri, Hugil and Puigmal, admittedly Puigmal's future likely lies away from us. Can't see Diallo being with the U23s for long with the promise he's shown.
