U23s Liverpool v United - Diallo scores twice on debut

Not seen him in full flight yet. Also it’s quite windy
That acceleration through the middle of the pitch then shows all you need to know!

That acceleration with his low centre of gravity will be a real weapon

Feck.. OMG... he just ran through 3 players like they wasn't there... I've not seen a player do that in a utd shirt for many years

That's a scary change of pace he has.

I don't think Diallo will play any more U23 games. Clearly a level above.
He will is my guess. There's another coming up midweek. He certainly isn't going to figure against Southampton or Everton.
Feck me, Everton will kick lumps out of him

Guys, dont get too involved in youth football. Enjoy the level for what it is.

Alright. I'll bookmark this comment and be back in 10 years so we can pick this discussion up again.

He's one of our highest rated players and there's a reason why he was given a pro deal so quickly. He might not be doing at u23 but he's an excellent talent.

I'm not disputing that. I just think he's been promoted too soon, I snapped a little with my response but I think in all his games so far he's looked out of his depth, no matter how highly he's rated.

How posters talk about his performances remind me of Rashford in the under ages once he reached the levels where games are televised on MUTV.

Nice to see our reserves defending like the 1sts

The U23 defending like the the first team. Set pieces and sloppy involvements in defence. 2-2.

Jesus was a goal to concede

Not only does it look like we're playing on a local park, we're playing like it too.

The U23s are doing their best impression of our first team here. Quite the comical defending for the 'Pool equaliser. Rivalling the Sheffield United winner.

Thought that was more Fernandez's fault.
No one covered themselves in glory there. We had three chances to clear the ball and each of Fernandez, Fish and Williams fecked up. Reminds me a bit of our senior team.

The insistence on playing out from the back when we’re clearly shit at it is nauseating. Liverpool picking us off every time.
