It's so weird watching Bebe. A lot of the time, he plays as if he's a quality athlete that has never actually played football before - like a Rugby player that's randomly having a kick around or something. That dribble then, for example. But sometimes you just see...something..something that makes you wonder whether one day he'll turn out a decent player. He's such an enigma.

This match shows why I don't believe in Blackett - his concentration is awful. At fault for both goals
Not that shocking. Cole's played a fair bit, Tunnicliffe saw plenty of action for the 17s and was always up against it at U19s given the competition and his birthdate. Lingard's been unlucky but has been a bit of a late developer so not that surprising he's missed out.
Blackett dragged off, probably for letting in the first goal. Didn't see who was trying to defend the 2nd.

Not even close to turning 19 yet. His concentration is his biggest flaw no doubt but you can't write him off over it just yet..
Pretty bad when you make the same mistake twice in 10 minutes and cost your team 2 goals.

Can't believe it, Southampton draw the game with a goal from outside the box, off Gollini's hands and the post.
Ah poor lad, bad mistake to cost us the win but it's a good test of character for him.
Very disappointing to only draw after a fantastic comeback. Surprising the ball even got through our wall of defenders, but the Southampton player didn't have all that much space. Someone could have come out and challenged him better, but Gollini needed to save that.

I think Larnell Cole was back performing good today after some games not at his best. Very nice to see that.
Enjoyable game really, especially compared to last week. Poor performances defensively though.
Larnell Cole, Jesse Lingard and Ryan Tunnicliffe are our best players. They are just far more intelligent footballers than the rest of our team.
Disappointed with how Joyce encourages us to go long rather than play out from the back, which has been the case every game so far this season. We were just handing possession back to them and therefore giving them control of the match. Our defenders need more composure on the ball. They need to get Lingard and Cole on the ball higher up the pitch more often because that's where we are dangerous. Hoofing long balls up to King is poor imo.
