Wow, that is uncanny!

I was just about to criticise Pereira before the goal. Reminds me of Pogba sometimes although Pogba dominated matches at reserve/youth level which Pereira never does.
me too! He was a bit sloppy, giving possession away then he popped up with that stunner

Bader's comments on Wilson remind me of Scholesy's comments on Macheda
Don't get me wrong, Wilson will be unbelievable for Man utd and England. He has pace, power and has one thing that Welbeck lacks, the striker's eye for goal. He has that great instinct.

But, like any player, you can always improve.

Why does Lawrence keep insisting on taking the set-pieces? They have been very poor tonight. No thought put into that free kick at all.

Haha I'd take him over Michael Owen. I think he is getting bored of listening to himself.
This new breed of co-commentators all leave a lot to be desired. With Higginbotham though there is barely a second in between to think.

First time I've seen Lawrence, love the way he seems to be under no pressure even when surrounded, and then he also has the ability to run right through them.

What would you guys say Lawrence's natural position was? He looks comfortable enough to be playing anywhere a across the front 6, really.

Behind the striker or on the left.

I like him more like today using his pace and direct dribbling from a wider position. When he played behind the striker he wasn't influencing much or creating oppertunities like you'd typically expect someone to do from in the hole

Take me home United road!

Very much like Lallana in his positioning and his ability.

Cheers lads.

I think that Lawrence has shown poor decision making tonight. He seems confident and talented just a little self indulgent.

Liverpool have been very poor. No cutting edge whatsoever.

The best thing I like about our u21s is the pressing off the ball and work ethic to regain possession. Something which has been missing with first team for some time and became worse under Moyes.

Sounds like we've taken out full 500 allocation... never heard such a good away support at a youth match!
I liked how they got pointed at by a steward for shouting 'you scouse bastard' at one of Pool's players. What followed immediately was 'could be worse, could be scouse, eating rats in your council house'.

"You get the feeling Micheal, that the next goal in this game will be a pivotal one"

No shit sherlock.

Polar opposite to the 1st team.

Tom Lawrence has great pace and dribbling. I'm not sure about him on set pieces tbh whenever he takes a corner or free kick it usually hits the first man when I've seen him.

Nice shot by Pearson.. Really thumped that, but straight down the keepers neck

We've absolutely bossed them in this match. Some lovely football.

James is impressing me. Who needs Shaw?

edit/ Tom Lawrence is great. Peireia has had flashes of brilliance too. Hargreaves saying Pearson is his double!

Reece James has come on leaps and bounds over the season hasn't he? anyone think he might get a chance with the first team in the pre-season?

No, Owen, Ben Pearson can't be your double. He has two working knees.
