U18s: United vs Liverpool

Looking forward to this one,U18's look like they could do some real damage this season.
 
Liverpool’s start to the season:

Derby 5-1 Liverpool
Liverpool 2-3 Middlesbrough
Liverpool 3-5 Arsenal
 
Interesting that Fitzgerald again starting at CB.
 
Is the Lusale deal still awaiting confirmation, same as Obi-Martin?

And what's happening with Plunkett? He was on the bench last week, and started midweek but went off at HT, and now not in the matchday squad at all. Was he injured midweek? Or just being sparingly used?
 
A 433 with Mantato, Biancheri, Scanlon in offense? Baumann, Devaney and Tyler Fletcher in midfield?

First full u18 match I'm going to watch in years, quite excited for it.

Yes. Baumann probably playing a bit higher than the other two.
 
What with the camera angle? For a moment I thought it is an away game. Horrible

Could really do without this camera angle!

Spent so long staring at screens yesterday - until about 3am - awaiting news of the deals and watching the U21's, and have a splitting headache this morning.

This is the kind of camera angle that gives me headaches - but I'm already starting off with a stinker. :(

Kamason finds Biancheri in the penalty area but he fails to lay it off for a teammate. United starting to dominate.
 
At least most attacks are from the right, otherwise can't really tell what's happening

Did they say why they are not playing at the regular ground? This camera angle is very hard to follow.

Mantato dribbles his way to a good position but his finish is a bit disappointing.
 
Just wide from Mantato! Brilliant footwork by him.

Mantato is on fire today. Just a matter of time we convert this pressure down their left side into a goal.
 
Is it really that difficult to just use some sort of raised platform?
 
Love it how Mantato keeps the width when he doesn’t have the ball. Simple stuff really but it gives him the best chance to take on his marker who’s giving him quite a bit of space at the moment.

Biancheri’s effort saved by the keeper. Mantato gets the rebound and should put it in the back of the net but the keeper saves that too. Irrelevant in the end as the winger was offside.

Best chance the visitors have created so far. Finish just a bit wide and over.

Kamason does well to get the ball to the box. It drops to Fletcher whose left-footed shot goes wide.
