U17s European Championships

Some people have said that Amass should be playing over Mcfarlane.

He's not fully match fit. Think McFarlane has been decent but even with the limited amount of minutes Amass has shown more in my opinion. Hope he gets a start tomorrow.

FT

Wales 1-1 Croatia
Austria 4-0 Denmark

Ukraine 1-0 Cyprus
Czechia 1-2 Serbia

England would probably be happy if they could avoid Italy in the quarters, if they make it there that is.

Italy resting most of their starters from the two earlier games.

Liberali is a fun player to watch. Remember we were linked with him a while back.

I think England can't finish above Portugal unless Portugal will lose against France and of course England will beat Spain.

FT

Sweden 1-2 Italy
Poland 4-0 Slovakia

Group C final standings:

Italy +5 9
Poland +2 4
Sweden -1 2
Slovakia -6 1

Despite the lineup graphics Amass plays as a LB in what looks like a back four.

Sloppy from Amass there. Apart from that both him and Fletcher have been solid so far. Especially defensively.

HT

England 1-1 Spain
Portugal 1-1 France

Portugal 7
England 4
France 4
Spain 1

Portugal and England going through as it stands.

England need some fresh energy on the pitch, right now it looks like another goal for Spain is inevitable.

Nwaneri is a talent. Can see why Arsenal were so desperate to keep him that they gave him a senior team debut when he was 16.

England: 6-4
Portugal: 5-3
France: 2-5

I’m not sure but I think it’s head to head before goal difference. All with three points. If it’s head to head gd after that it’s:

1) Portugal +2
2) England +1
- - -
3) France -3

But yeah I think France need more goals anyway.

Edit: Yeah it’s gd in the head to head games, if level it’s goals scored in the head to head games
