Jack Fletcher and Harry Amass are the only United players at the tournament. Lacey and most likely Fitzgerald would've been in the England squad if they weren't injured. Also wondering whether Zach Baumann could've made the Ukraine squad. Victor Musa for Spain injured as well.

Some interesting players to follow:

Opening day results:

Serbia 1-0 Ukraine
Denmark 2-0 Wales

Live scores (70 minutes played):

Cyprus 0-3 Czechia
Croatia 0-0 Austria

Chido Obi started the tournament in a typical fashion.

I've only seen him pass it into the back of the net. I saw his goals from when he scored seven in one game for Arsenal and I swear all of them were just passes.

They're doing what I do on football manager and just sweeping up all talent and then will sell them on for triple the price a few years later.

That’s exactly what they’re doing. Not ideal for their development but to each their own.

Aye, and it's a well trodden path with Chelsea before them. Basically a way to balance future FFP balance sheets without quite as much cheating, while still having a relatively small stadium and no fans.

I've watched a couple of highlights videos from recent Arsenal matches and he had a lot of longshots that werent very good at all. Seems more of a determined striker who works hard and keeps going till he scores rather than being an exceptional shooter.

Lukjancikis is apparently very highly rated and City are trying to get him from us.

I think that whole thing is nonsense tbh. Both United and City already have their keepers in that age group pretty much solidified. I'd be very suprised if he left Everton and if he did it's probably going to be to a club abroad.

He's also only at the tournament as the training keeper, not officially in the squad. Brits & Whatmuff are ahead of him.

England XI:

Brits

Shahar
Amissah
Noble (C)

Mukasa
Moore
Harrison
J.Fletcher
McFarlane

Nwaneri
Dipepa

Subs: Whatmuff, Mfuni, Dixon, L.Fletcher, Dunbar-McDonald, Amass, Olusesi

Not sure what the lineup will look like. UEFA has it as 3-5-2 with Nwaneri and Dipepa up front. Who knows. Amass understandably on the bench as he's probably not in a condition to play from the start.

Rigg and Mheuka apparently not fit to be in the squad today. Rigg is a big miss.

France XI:

Niflore

Thebault
Gadou
Angely
Bienck

Kouakou
Cabral
Sellami
Kanté

Molebe
Sternal

Which is a surprise considering their under 18 dominance this season, Finlay Macalister surely should have been picked?

He’s in the age group above. Lacey and Fitzgerald would’ve probably made it had they been fit.

Nice to see Dipepa play at this level, considering we’ve been linked with him.

3-0

What a goal from Moore. He’s been on another level to anyone else tonight.

Wow, Mikey Moore, terrific goal, 3-0, France look a bit shell shocked.
Fletcher playing quite well, as all the England players are.

HT 3-0

Nwaneri, Mukasa and Dipepa all impressive, but this is turned into a Mikey Moore show.

Dont think hes been involved much. Of the midfield its mostly Harrison dropping in and getting on the ball. Fletcher has made a few passes and received a few passes, just played it simply

He is seemingly playing deeper than he normally does for United
