Tyrell Malacia | Romano: Here we go…

Don't really see what's funny. He's a reporter, who reports on the news (i.e. current events). The deal with OL was done. We came in and hijacked it. He reported that too (new news). First one to do so IIRC. What's he supposed to do? Not report it because it might contradict what he said previously? How would that even make sense?

Back it up there, champ. I was laughing as I said Romano rarely gets things wrong and was instantly corrected in this case. I was not laughing at Romano's journalism or reliability. I'm a big fan.

He looks quite good from the youtube highlights. A couple cracking goals in there and should get a few assists this season.

Not done done, but done enough for him to use his catchphrase. Things change.

And seriously, what's your issue with Romano? Seen you in another thread doing the same thing. Did he shit on your cornflakes or something? (Wouldn't believe it anyway; by all accounts he's a personable guy in real life.)
Found Fabrizo's caf account

Riiiiight ... This is a whoooosh for me, so ...

Looks like we have a Romano FC

Maybe. Or just a guy who hates a pile-on-for-no-good-reason. Does he owe you money?

Like I said .. snide.

My fair assessment of him isn't driven by dislike.

Fair enough. But it's hard to tell, because the Romano hate over here is weird. A bit like the Melissa Reddy hate. So personal ... Why?

He's pretentious. For example, VDS will say publically Ajax are not in for Henderson and Romano will say "my sources tell me Ajax are not in for Henderson".

I mean, his profile picture is him talking on the phone.

Also he produces a lot of filler content.

He's a good aggregator and Im sure he has a few sources, but I can see why people dont like him for these two reasons.

Just signed and the “no social media” out the window.

He‘ll be dying his hair or starting a clothing range before we know it :)

Ugh. Genuinely I bet it's part of any new contract here to have obligations to have insta and twitter. How else will they generate all those clicks and upvotes and follow the club blueprint for all players to delude themselves into thinking they're superstars and more important than the fans or the manager or the badge.

Oh, we've seen him try too hard to be first to break the news like that YouTube mess a while back where he posted something then had to delete it. But for some on here, it feels so personal. Like an overreaction.

Vibez FC....we win Twitter battles and Instagram. "Your commercial value rockets and so does ours". Winner winner off the field chicken dinner.

It would explain an awful lot if that was the case. From players having inflated egos and being narcissistic overriding actually trying hard and winning stuff. Then downing tools and throwing managers under the bus, sending incessant PR messages over social media to preserve their brand.

If he is anything more than Telles then we have got a great deal. He could be our butner/darmian or surprise us like Robertson

Dont think I've ever hoped for a player to make it more than I hope Tyrell will make it at United.

One thing's for sure, he will make it or die trying. Dude's mentality is second to none.

Another Klaassen.

Well that's a really good attribute :D

Looking forward to seeing him, i heard he has fantastic technique. Is he the Dutch left back in the National team now?

I really, really like the look of him. I would rather he was a right back as I think Shaw is twice the player of Dalot or AWB but still exciting.
