Tyrell Malacia | Romano: Here we go…

Very off topic but it took me the longest time to figure out why my youngest kept running to the nursery toilet shouting "HERE WE GO!" Then I remembered that when he was little I would always commentate his movements. "Pidgy Junior is preparing a poop..... Negotiations with his pull ups are in an advanced stage... Poop agreed. Here we go!"

I feel a small amount of sympathy for him there. It was a hijack job after all

Don't really see what's funny. He's a reporter, who reports on the news (i.e. current events). The deal with OL was done. We came in and hijacked it. He reported that too (new news). First one to do so IIRC. What's he supposed to do? Not report it because it might contradict what he said previously? How would that even make sense?

Clearly not.

Not done done, but done enough for him to use his catchphrase. Things change.

And seriously, what's your issue with Romano? Seen you in another thread doing the same thing. Did he shit on your cornflakes or something? (Wouldn't believe it anyway; by all accounts he's a personable guy in real life.)
I have no idea what you're talking about mate :wenger:

But it wasn’t done, he was wrong, that was the question and it was answered very definitively

Like I said not done done, but done enough for him to say 'Here we go'. Did I stutter?
It wasn't done. Verbal agreements are binding over here. Clearly, both Lord Tyrell and Feyenoord hadn't given their word yet. He has no sources, he's just an aggregator and his spot on the tier list in the tweets thread reflects this.

As long as it means less of Shaw ambling around and less of the ponytail. It can only be a good thing for now.

Yep, everyone's saying he bought as a backup but if he will adapts into ETH style of play I imagine he'll be a first teamer pretty quickly.

No more Shaw and telles is great.

I'm very happy we've bought a full back and i hope he develops into a top player as full backs have been such a glaring weakness in our team for so many years that it's been painful (especially last season)

I'm glad to see i'm not the only insane person on the forum.

Positive signing.

Shaw is liable to have big dips in form or get injured and Telles is a disaster. So I struggle to see how this is going to end up as anything but a positive.

Excellent signing. I’d really love someone right out of the blue though. It seems we are interested in the players the media have put forward. We just wait to get in last minute/drag it out to get a good price. I understand that totally but I’d like an amad type midfield signing. A cheapish boy wonder or second contract playmaker and possibly the same profile for a hold up striker too.

Cheap unknown signings like Amad end up going on loan because they aren't ready to play for Manchester United. Players who are good enough aren't going to be obscure players that no one has heard of
