Tyrell Malacia | Romano: Here we go…

Shaw will still be the starter. Hopefully he replaces Telles.

Shaw is unreliable, he wont stay fit enough to be the default starter over the season. Telles challenged him last season, says it all. If this fella is any good, Shaw will need to pick it up where he left 2 seasons ago.

Like I said I think this one makes a lot of sense because we can easily recoup anything we spend on him from selling Williams and even Telles

Also while Shaw can be technically brilliant his intensify and pressing levels are poor. A proper engine at left back who can help us become a more dynamic team that can match any teams intensity will help. You can have one capable LB who fancies himself as another Berbatov.

Telles and Williams must be out of the door, unless Williams goes to RB and one of AWB and Dalot leave.

€15m for a baller who will be €50m in next two years.

This is exactly THE direction.

I want this to be true not because I think Shaw isn't good enough but because I think Telles is fecking awful. Sell Telles and Williams and bring in Malacia and I'll start to believe Murtough knows what he's doing.

Makes sense, we could probably get a half decent fee for Williams as he was alright at Norwich. Williams won't go RB, he's not a RB and never has been.

Don't think anywhere has reported he's actually chosen us yet so we should hold our horses.
This is true but most reports are saying he has same agents as De Jong so surely for us to have put a bid in it was agreed he’d join

I haven't see the fee reported. That figure in euros was the one erroneously being reported between Lyon and Feijenoord.

My guess is 20m sterling.

Yeah you're probably right.

Best way to avoid a united tax? just wait for the selling team to agree a fee with another club

Beat me to it. Best way to avoid United tax. Have some understanding with bunch of clubs. Pay them finders fee like couple of millions once the deal is finalised on their terms.

He does look too promising to miss out on. Good competition for Shaw who I reckon could transition to a CB the older he gets.

who is he? any good?

Holland's next LB.

Exactly. Now we have class competition for Shaw. Malacia never misses a game, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Shaw play in a different position, but that is if he stays fit and they both do well.

Telles never again. Thank Jesus.

The kind of decisive action needed to really change the team/squad in as short of a time as possible. We should be able to get decent money for them both too.

He always buggered up the balance and flow of the team when we were counter attacking because he's so one footed.
A Right-footed Left back.

It’s all fecking happening after the Frenkie fiasco was sorted

I guess that video of him shrugging and smiling about United had substance.

Beginning to think we actually have a lot of money to spend this summer. LB was never a serious priority, so spending 15m on one while on a tight budget (that's gotten a lot less after De Jong) would make no sense unless the budget was never tight
€15m not £. Andreas deal would basically pay for him.
