Meh... actually thought he'd be a player we could get this month and do very well for us.

I'd have liked us to sign him. I'm not overly bothered that we won't be but I'm actually quite disappointed that he's leaving the PL. Classy player, have enjoyed watching him play.

I can't see embedded tweets anymore. Does anyone know of any fixes for this?

Do you have any sort of app/extension on your browser that blocks things like share buttons, or anti-virus software that disables things that track you online? I had this problem with a Chrome extension called Ghostery which blocks spy trackers on websites - I set an exclusion for Twitter share buttons and now I see the embedded tweets again.

Checked the ad-blocker app and there was a thing blocking all social media stuff.

Can see the tweets again, thanks :).

Bayern have so many good players that surely wages will soon start to be a bit of an issue. The older players in the squad deserve big wages but Gotze gets big money too and soon the likes of Martinez, Thiago, Muller, Boateng, Neuer and obviously Kroos would surely want similar money too. I'm assuming Lewandowski will be handsomely rewarded for his choice as well.

Regardless, feck me they have a good squad.

There is only one thing I know about Tufty.. and Niall wouldn't want me to say it on the caf.

Would be amazing if we announce this before the game. I remember the same when Roy Keane signed a new contract and it was announced before a CL game against Valencia, i think. Whole ground was buzzing

2019?!? That's, like, the future!

The bloke from the MEN knocked that story down, didn't he?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Surely a four year contract would have made more sense. I suppose that Stretford has Woody over his lap though.

Yeah, I was saying that earlier but Stretford would insist on it being a 5 year deal. His last big contract.

Well, there has been talks of Bayern simply letting the contract run out, hasn't there? It's not always just a matter of "extend or sell" - occasionally clubs add the "do nothing" option to the pack.

The talk is one thing but certainly nothing that goes hand in hand with how Bayern operates if the past summer is anything to go by; they sold both Gomez and Gustavo who were both in the last year of their contracts as far as I remember.

There would be an uproar if Bayern decided to run Kroos' contract down.

We will have a 34 year old Wayne Rooney running around in 2019.
