He has just joined Monchengladbach from Wolfsburg in this transfer window
I know it has happend with Demichelis last season too......but this shouldn't be allowed that a player can make two moves during one single transfer window

I think it can as long as the player hasn't played a competitive game for both teams.

Johnson was good in the WC but would they honestly be even considering if it wasn't for those few games? He's managed to get to 27 without ever having gone to a top club, or being regarded as one of the best in his position, so I'd have my doubts he'd cut it at Barca.

A bit like the Vermaelen signing then and the majority of their defensive purchases in recent years.

We're still getting a Premier League club

But a away match against Bradford, Scunthorpe, Walsall or Sheffield Wednesday would be a nice draw

Nope. For round 2, there is seeding system. Teams are separated as 'seeded' and 'unseeded', 25 each. All PL teams will fall under seeded. From round 3 onwards, there is no seeding I guess.

Rodgers smoking stuff again by the look of things.

It's like no one at Liverpool has ever actually seen Messi before the comparisons they make with him.... I guess they have been without Champions League football for a while :smirk:

Spot on.

Thirteen Premier League clubs enter the competition at this stage, with the remaining seven joining in Round 3 as they are involved in European competition. The draw is seeded, with the top 12 Football League clubs still in the competition (based on last season’s finishing positions) joining the 13 Premier League clubs as seeds.

Unseeded clubs will be subject to a pre-draw to determine a home or away match, with each unseeded team facing a seeded side. Seeded clubs will be drawn out live on Sky Sports News with the draw numbers as listed below.

He really is the manager that the RAWK ites always dreamed of. Hyperbole mixed with delusion wrapped in a thick veneer of vague creepiness.

Exactly. Or he likes to WUM. :D

Hypothetically if chelsea added Benatia. that would surely go down as the greatest transfer window of all time?

Rogers said Sterling took a touch like messi. The media headlines it as "Sterling has a touch like Messi". Read past the headlines people!

Rodgers smoking stuff again by the look of things.

In Liverpool land, Joe Cole is best player in the world. Rodgers has understood quickly what he needs to say to have deluded dippers by his side, irrespective of what happens on pitch.

No.

2009 Madrid - Ronaldo, Alonso, Benzema, Kaka, Negredo.
