They haven't said anything yet that can be proved false
A quick search of this thread for El Mercurio yields them saying:

1. We're worried about the state of his knee before bidding
2. United offer many millions for Vidal but want to see his knee
3. El Mercurio mention that a representative from Man United will meet with Beppe Marotta, Juve director, next week to offer him $61m + Nani. (3 weeks ago)
4. The agent is going to meet Juve and present our offer. Which seems a bit pointless, as we presented it three weeks earlier, apparently.

And that's all I can be bothered finding.

Basically, sounds like it's all made up tosh.

El Mercurio have quoted the Italian tabloids on various times aswell. But people who live in Chile say they're very reliable, Spanish Journo Kike Marin also takes them seriously and regards them as reliable.

Juventus will not negotiate for offers less than €45m. Arturo Vidal's agent Fernando Felicevich is currently in England not Italy. [GdS]

I called Cavani to Chelsea yesterday when Lukaku was looking on his way out. It's an obvious fit for Chelsea and would add genuine quality to their forward line. Also means they could possibly flog Torres in the same window and remove his wages.

Some people are way too sensitive, if a few randomers that had no effect on my life what so ever told me to commit suicide over social media I wouldn't give a singe feck. Welcome to the internet, not man the feck you.

They'd flog Torres right now but they won't find anyone who'll match his wages which I'm presuming will be around 150k.

The worst signing in Premiership era by a mile.

I think they've been trying to flog Torres but can't, it's not that they didn't want to.

Chelsea just bought Costa and have Drogba has a replacement... why would they need Cavani.. unless Chelsea are going to switch to 2 strikers.

People have committed suicide over online harassment. I guess they weren't man enough.

'Alexi, mate, can you ask Arsenal what font they used on their bid for you? This Woodward fella seems to be struggling to pick a suitable one and it's holding everything up!'
He probably used Comic Sans and they told him to go feck himself

They'd rotate Cavani with Costa. It's pretty simple to keep two strikers happy with the amount of games we have in this country. Drogba was an obvious player to bring in as a temporary backup. He won't mind not playing much. He's 36 after all!

But to spend all that money on Costa to use him as a backup?
I dont see him liking that, he was on form for Athletico.

I'm pretty confident our strike force is better than any of our rivals for the upcoming season. Rooney looks to be hitting form early and looks sharp and electric for the first time in years and RVP works wonders under the tutorship of LVG. However If we are letting Chicha go I would really like us to go in for another up and coming striker or a goal scoring winger that can play up top.

I wouldn't.

Rooney
RvP
Welbeck
Zaha
Lingard
Wilson

Those 6 will be fighting for 2 places. Why not give our young players a chance to grab the 4th striking spot?

James Wilson.

James Wilson.
Ok I'll be honest the most I've seen of Wilson was the last two games of last season. Is he really ready to make that step up? He certainly looked good those two games.

You really should watch some of the younger players before casting them aside in place of people like Cavani.

Wilson is extremely good.

everyone should flashmob, tweetbomb @ManUtd with #BidforVidal, u know woody has an elf monitoring social media

Right now he has the potential to be the best striker to come through our youth system, he's an absolute monster. Wicket pace, dribbling and can finish with both feet equally as good. His coach jokingly was saying that he wasn't sure which foot he was because he was so good with both. He also had a mental goal scoring record last season scoring in u18, u19, u21, senior in one season and u19 in England.

Our youth system is producing absolute quality the past 2-3 years.

His ''weak'' foot.

I'm pretty sure Wilson is left footed.
