The real question here... who was the fastest to hit the report button?

I had to blow the dust off my report button before I was able to press it, so it took a few seconds.

I think you can get away with Rooney on one wing but you need a proper winger on the other side otherwise everything will become too narrow.

Cavani is just not needed, if we were going to play him on the wing we may as well buy a winger who is better than Cavani.

Also the whole reason Cavani was f*cked off was due to playing out wider and not getting the central role which Zlatan occupies. I think he is a very good player but Rooney is going nowhere and we have Adnan to cover the wide right of a front three.

Cavani would be an incredible signing IF it is not instead of other targets (Im looking at you Vidal) imagine this for instance.

De Gea
Rafeal-Jones-Hummels-Shaw
Herrera-Vidal
Mata
Cavani-RVP-Rooney

Cavani wants to leave PSG because he is playing the RF/RW position, his natural position is ST.
Why would be come here when RVP is the better ST?

That makes no sense, besides there is no way he is worth anywhere near 50M+, that is ridiculous.

Cavani on right wing, Rooney on left wing?

You're the infamous poster scholsey with a new account aren't you?

Think it'd be a shite signing personally. You can't play with 3 strikers, it just doesn't work. We need a winger out there and somebody with pace, rvp, Rooney and cavani aren't very quick. Also that would leave us too light defensively.

Anyways, I'm as against signing cavani as I was for fellaini. Never rated him too highly even as a striker, I've watched him loads of times and he's been shite pretty much every time.

Rumours are that the autobiography update is going to consist of matchday diary entries from last season:

March 16th United - 0 Liverpool - 3
Oh fockin' hell...

March 22nd West Ham - 0 United - 2
Thank Christ for th-

March 25th United - 0 City - 3
...Oh fockin' hell again...

While I would stop well short of calling him a senile old twat, I do find the reissue of the book with a minor update a bit of a cynical, money making move. He could do a press release or a big ionterview with the Sunday Times or something like that.

Also I just dont see this ending well for his relationship with Moyes. Either he comes out and says Moyes was the wrong choice (which we all know it was) and lets Moyes down or he comes out and backs Moyes and says he should have been given more time (which he probably should have done at the time, rather than remain tight lipped). I'm sure Moyes would just generally prefer if the whole situation was put to bed.

The only reason I am applying him to a formation is that I think its on the cards. PSG need funds for FFP and Cavani may be so disinterested with the French league he doesnt care if we play him on the wing. Also if RVP does go injured wed have a pretty decent back up option if hes not employed on the wing.

Personally I dont want him to come. But this has had smoke coming from it for a long time. I can see it happening.

You are right about the 3 strikers but Cavani is very quick.

Erm, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck are all more than sufficient replacements for van Persie.

He's above average but he's not like really fast, doesn't have the quick burst of pace like nani, Sanchez, Valencia used to have, etc..
That's what we lack IMO, Welbeck is fast but can't really do much with it because he has no composure at all and terrible movement. We need a winger to play out wide who is creative, quick and direct. Cavani is none of those really.

No idea what any of this refers to, but who doesn't love intrigue?

What the feck is wrong with the senile old twat? He should lay low and enjoy his retirement.

I'm as critical of Ferguson as anyone, especially in his later years but he's still comfortably more than qualified to assassinate Moyes and his short reign if he chooses to. I don't think he will though, as that would be admitting he fecked up on a monumental level, which Ferguson is too arrogant/stubborn to do.

I think that's a point we all can agree on my friend...it would be a fascinating read :)
I don't agree, he and the publishers have already made a small fortune from the orginal book, now they're suggesting that they're going to add a few juicy bits to get people to buy the book twice. The truth is, the first book was realsed to early, now, under a year later the new "better" version is being published.
Nothing against people making money, but this feels like they are fleecing the fans, they should either release an entire new book or non at all.
Why can't Fergie get his view point across some other way, I'm sure they're loads of papers/television channels that would pay handsomely for a warts and all interview, however, that way the publishers won't make any money.

Leaving Australia last year for urgent transfer business was a good laugh.

Which is odd since he runs a radio show paid for and commissioned by the club.

Probably cricket related bahahahahhahahahhaahhahahaaahaahahhahahabahahahahahabahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahhaahhaaha. Won't be united related anyway. Martin Lipton writes on Chelsea mainly for the mirror.
