I have to wonder about these reports. Unless I'm completely missing something their owner is desperately trying to sell the club and this summer has bought them three or four free transfers with almost no quality. So the idea that they'll suddenly commit £7m and a massive salary on a player nearing 30 is fanciful at best.

That's my opinion as well. Yes the CL games are great, but the majority of the games he will play are in an awful league. There again maybe he want easy medals.

Exactly, I wasn't particularly saying about Di Maria, have the impression he's not in it just for the cash, otherwise he could stay at RM. PSG & Monaco are places for players who are only interested in the money or players heading towards retirement. Hope we never sign any players from them.
