Too many tweets now which have nothing to do with transfers.

Btw, am I the only one who find ppl complaining about a couple of random non-transfer-related tweets more annoying than those random tweets?
I know it's in the transfer forum, but it's not like there are various pages of those tweets, just a few seperate incidents. If you don't like it, just skip it.
If those tweets are a result of current events (Suarez saga, WC, etc.) I don't mind them at all, even though they are not United or transfer-related (as long as it's not too much).

From what I hear, Sanchez & Debuchy is just start for Arsenal this window. They have BIG plans & will look to bring in more proven players.

I quite like all the different tweets personally, but if this is to be transfer's only (makes sense, it's in the transfer forum), maybe we could save the meme, general news, etc type tweets to go with a transfer related one?
For example: "Suarez to join Barcelona" tweet, is the transfer news tweet, and then maybe there is a tweet like above that is just a little factoid type thing underneath it.

Personally, I like informative tweets even funny ones. But this thread should stick to transfer related only as I and many others would be logging in here to get an update of whats going on related to transfers. Some of those tweets(unrelated to transfers) can be posted in player threads or various other discussion threads if it begs a discussion or reaction. Having another thread altogether is question for Mods. But that will turn into a general football chat.
I don't know if you are the only one or not, but the annoyance is only in the event of too many non transfer related tweets. Occasional one or two tweets relevant to football wouldn't be a problem at all.
I agree with you in that I like a mix of tweets, funnies etc ... but here's the problem. The new thread is where most people will be and this thread will be like the old tweets only thread and die a death. Then that new thread will get complaints that it contains stuff they don't want to see. Whilst the unhappy complain, the mass of people that are content generally say nowt.
One solution would be for Redcafe to set up a list of decent reliable journos on their Twitter profile. People could then follow that list on Twitter or maybe there is a way of embedding it. Just like the main Redcafe twitter feed is embedded on the homepage, could the list be embedded on the transfer page. That way people could click on the Transfer forum and on the right hand side you'd see an embedded list of tweets from agreed sources.

I think embedding reliable sources is a great idea.
I personally dont mind the non transfer stories (I get that this is the Transfer Forum but with so few reliable stories out there it makes for a good read in the thread) and I think generally the standard of tweets being posted has improved greatly.

SorryActually, to go back on myself, an all singing dancing Twitter and discussion thread could have it all. It would also last all year round when theres stuff worth a share but not worth setting up a new thread. It could have stuff like vines and funnies from games. Maybe treat it like this in that Indykalia doesn't count, but if PaddyPower have a Vine of Scholes talking about him, that's would be ok?
I'm thinking the main contributors to this thread would exist in that one. I'm assuming Adnan and yourself would be?
As a Twitter user i'm used to quick skimming over Tweets that I can't be bothered with, hence it's not a problem for me. If it's not relevant, I just skim. I'm also on a desktop and just have this tab open all day and refresh it, so it may annoy me more if I was on a tablet or phone? Just trying to see the point of view of those that complain.
