 seriously, what the feck is going on with this thread?

Is it just a dedicated repository for you to cross-post any old shit that takes your fancy on twitter?

Seems like a waste of redcafe bandwidth but hey, I'm not a mod...

I always thought you were a mod for some reason?

But Pogue does make a good point - this is in Transfer Section of the forum yet Tweets about Ron Vlaar's defending is for debate elsewhere, surely? Transfer only related Tweets in here?

I look at it this way: Is it better to get a few non-transfer related tweets and a lot of transfer related or none at all...

What do you want only Man United related tweets?

What I want doesn't really matter. The OP says the following, though:

Use this thread for posting transfer related tweets in. Use your head as to what to post.

Not sure how random musings from some bloke about Holland vs Argentina qualifies but hey, whatever floats your boat...

That one tweet was more opinion than news, but you wanna start a seperate thread for other Football tweets except transfers ? That would probably lead to further problems with jumble up and mixing up and less attention/interest.

Can people please post the text below the tweet? I cannot read them at work, and am sure many others too

He wouldn't suit their system at all IMO. He is a good player but him and Lambert will never replace Suarez and his goals whereas if they bought a world class striker like Cavani or Higuain with the Suarez money, they could have at least kept some quality in the attacking third.

Bony and Lambert to replace Suarez

Delicious.

To be fair though, Lambert was cheap and will knock in goals even as a backup striker while Bony, if they sign him, is the best striker in the league only behind Suarez right now obviously with Suarez leaving it'll make it clear for him to be the best out right and he's actually probably better than Suarez was anyway.

Eintracht Frankfurt executive chairman confirmed an offer on the table for Nicklas Bendtner with Aston Villa also majorly interested.

Higuain is not really world class anyway, and won't suit their system either. Cavani they cannot afford and they aren't getting any other striker of that level to join them.

Bony won't be the best signing but he'd be a good one, imo. Is better than Lambert and Has potential to be a pretty good goal scorer and a real physical and pacy presence. They will have to change their system but can see Bony knocking plenty goals in.

Best striker in the league only behind Suarez? What about Aguero, Dzeko, RVP, Rooney, Lukaku?

Yep, it will be only a mata of time until he also becomes the third best player in the world.

Unless Liverpool has some major signings planned, they are going backwards at a rapid rate with the signings they've made this summer.

That's a squad for Europa League and a battle for 5th place, not title challenges and latter stages of the Champions League.

Rodgers will earn serious respect if that squad, as it is now, does anything of worth next season.

This is what I'm thinking could be a plan. Shaw has the physical attributes to be an absolute monster of a winger.

Wouldn't be surprised if they try to mould him into a left winger permanently.
The amount of people saying thus is unreal. He's decent going forward at best. Please stop saying shit like this as its going to lead to unreasonable expectations of the lad.
