I think his point was how overpriced players are when bought from clubs within the Premiership compared to players at other European clubs. Yes Snodgrass was at a now Championship club but the point stands.

Yeah, basically. Crazy that a nothing player like Snodgrass goes for £7 million and a very good player like Valbuena can go for near enough half of that.

Oh, he's right that far, but it'd be a stronger point if Hull were a decent team. This'd be more like Southampton paying £7m for Snodgrass.
