it's a shame. before last summer, you could actually trust some of the stuff put up on twitter. now that everyone wants to be the first one to report the big scoop, there's almost no point trusting it any longer. i remember one guy last summer tweeted that modric was on his way to manchester getting a medical and then posted a pic making fun of United fans. Turned out he was a liverpudlian. It's so easy for people to make up bullshit that on the whole, it's very discouraging to go on there and hope that someone's right. it's getting so bad taht news sources recycle fake quotes that should only take anyone about a minute to realize it's BS.

Maybe you should update the op with this info then. If you only want twitter updates of proper news reporters then you can't expect people to follow rules we can't see. But I will only post these type speculative tweets from now on.
Even so, what proper news reporters put on twitter isn't necessarily more credible than the out and out wummery that other twitter accounts spew. Its all speculation at the end of the day.

I disagree, sports journalist have some sources and therefore a lot more more credible than ITK
