Not so sure they'll want him in 2 years time. SAF was right Rooney's powers are starting to recede and although he can still do a job he is no longer one of the premier CF's.

You cannot think about Fletcher at the moment if ever and Petrucci, not sure.
Trouble for Rooney is if Jose cocks it up, he might not be Chelsea's manager in 2 years and any new manager might not fancy Rooney( a 2 year older Rooney),
We shouldn't worry about two years down the line - Rooney won't be attractive to buyers than. Only one (desperate) team wants him now.

odd considering I called the ticket office this morning and one of the options on the menu was to buy tickets for the Chelsea game.
It is absolutely mental that Jose doesn't seem to fancy Mata. He is undoubtedly the player outside of United who I most enjoy watching, if you'd said that there would be rumours of them getting rid during last season I would've told you you were absolutely bonkers.

Why would Atlético putting in a loan request mean that Mourinho is insane? If he accepts, sure... but until then?

Are those reputable outlets?
I'd say they're reasonable, they get some things right and some wrong like all the other papers and outlets. I remember Cadena SER being discussed previously this summer but I can't remember which player it was concerning.
