The Juve Aguero story has been going around for weeks. Just a matter of time before he signs.
 
Ole has offered two Americans at Molde, Josh Gatt and Sean Cunningham, to United on trial.

Neither are thought of particularly highly in US Soccer circles as far as I'm aware, but maybe Ole sees something our incompetent FA don't. They have both played for our U-20 National Team but neither have really excelled. Gatt seems to be the better or the two from the couple of games I watched.
 
Bob Bradley was asked about Gatt in the last week, I think. He said he was on the "list" of potential players and then talked about him being a player we had hopes for. He refused to say how high he was on the list, just that he's on it. At least we don't have that Dutch prick as our U21(I think) coach anymore. He screwed us over on several players who could have been playing for us rather than other countries.

Cunningham hasn't played as far as I know, but Gatt plays on the wing and has filled in at RB recently doing well.

Gatt is thought of highly and was on the fringes of the Gold Cup squad. I don't think it would surprise anyone if those 2 (along with other teammates) went to United for training in their off season.

I thought Subotic was the only player people thought the US lost out on due to Rongen but I thought that was all cleared up a few months ago. I thought Rongen did a great job getting players to play for the US
 
Not really related, but why hasn't Junior Hoilett played for Canada yet? He would comfortably be their best player.

And why wasn't Carlos Vela involved in the Gold Cup?

I'm not sure, but I think Vela's in Mexico's Copa America squad. He hasn't been playing much club football, and his international record doesn't make him undroppable either, so I think Mexico's new coach just wanted to give some players who were doing well in Mexico a chance instead.

Sport.es report that Real Madrid have thrown a €50m spanner in the works to Fabregas' move to Barca. Surely Arsenal couldn't resist that bid
 
Fabregas can say no. And as long as Barca know that, it wont affect their negotiating position.

I actually was at the after party in Abu Dhabi after Barca won the club world cup and Jonathan Dos Santos actually bribed a few waiters to get booze for him and a few of the other academy lads. He was clearly scared of Guardiola finding out.

Canada has been trying to get Hoilett to commit to Canada but he hasn't made up his mind yet. He is also eligible to play for Jamaica and could be leaning that way.

So I learnt a key fact about Arsenal's transfer situation today..... Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri & Gael Clichy all share the same agent. And the same said agent (a la representative/adviser within player's team) has just signed up Robin Van Persie

This Tim Payton guy is an Arsenal fan.

What's his point? That all 4 are now leaving Arsenal?
 
tbh I have no idea what his point is, but yeah must be something like that.
 
The point might be: this agent might be pressing for large wage rises for his clients, or they'll be going (although Cesc may want to go regardless).

I dream of a world where The Twitter Speculation Thread only consists of Journos or ITK-tards who have showed themselves to be reliable at least once.

Precisely. People quoting bollocks all the time makes the thread redundant whereas the proper journalists and people linked to clubs often have early snippets of news before the rest which would be useful.
